The size of the judo-wrestling mats in the basement of the gymnasium limits enrollment in each class to 20. 10 girls and 10 boys. "It's caught on real well." says Chuck Hundley, graduate student in physical education who teaches all three judo classes offered this quarter.

The resolution also pointed out that many hunters in the Billings area must travel long distances to drawings and that not every working man can take time off from work to attend these drawings. AL JENKINS, president of the Rod and Gun Club, proposed half-seriously and half-humor-ously that federal funds be used to provide an elk herd for Yellowstone, Carbon and Stillwater counties, "such as other communities of our state enjoy." He further proposed that the Fish and Game Department make a feasibility study on establishing elk herds in the Bear-tooth Mountain area, by utilizing both public and private lands. In supporting the; bill, Rep. Ike Knudsen, of the Fish and Game Committee, wrote to the Rod and Gun Club that he did not agree with their stand, "as the people in the Phillips and Valley County areas have donated funds to transport these elk. In this particular area, this was a moral issue." Sen.

WRITE BOX 979 co GAZETTE NEW YORK (AP) The World Boxing Council withdrew recognition of Cassius Clay as world heavyweight champion Thursday and said it will recognize as world champion the winner of a match between Joe Frazier and "a leading and acceptable contender." Meanwhile, the WBC declared the title vacant. The announcement was made by Justiniano Montano of the Philippines, who is president of the WBC, after meeting with Edwin B. Dooley, chairman of the New York State Athletic Commission. Montano had announced in Manila last Nov. 13 that Clay-would be stripped of recognition if he did not defend the crown by the end of 1968.

Montano, in a statement, said the action was taken because of Clay's "inability to defend his title which has caused confusion in the heavyweight division and prevented the leading contenders 'from deciding the issue."
