Miss Harvey said that Mist Studte had become known as Miss Santa Claua for her work with the Christmas Exchange and expressed the hope that she would be able to help with the exchange even after retire ment. Miss Studte started work with the Social Service Index as a "temporary Job" immedi ately after leaving business college.

The job became permanent one lasting for 33 years, For 25 of those years she was secretary of the Index.
