Page Ten THE "EVENING NEWS, SAULT STE MARIE, MICHIGAN WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 1957 Fire Razes R. Hillock Farm Home Fire completely destroyed the Richard Hillock farm home Tuesday afternoon. The home, located three and one- half miles east of Dafter and one- half mile east of M-129 opposite the Midway Road, was burned to the ground by the fire which was reported about 2:30 p. m. Very little in the house was saved from the fire, according to Elmre Tuori, assistant chief of the Dafter volunteer fire department.

Only a stove and television set and a few small items were saved from the flames, Tuori said. The Rosedale volunteer fire department was at the scene of the fire first, and then called the Dafter fire department. A mixup in resulted in the Dafter fire department first going 'o the Victor Hillock farm, before arriving at the Richard Hillock Farm. Mr. and Mrs.

Richard Hillock; have four children. Their two sons' are 7 and 8 years of age, and their daughters are 4 and 6. The Hillock family is now-living with Mrs. Hillock's parents, and Mrs. Clive Sawyers, on the! Pickford Road.
