Kenneth Clough all to supper in Lincoln at the new Johnson Cafe at the south edge of the city. Later in the evening the couples returned to the Garrison home where they enjoyed the evening with Canasta. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Dunn and family were dinner hosts to the Rev.

and Mrs. David Hot- the weekend at his home here. Among those from this vicinity attending the football game between University of Nebr. and Missouri at Columbia, were Mr. and Mrs.

Emil Essman, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Clark and Raymond Riechers. The members of the M.Y.F. of the Clatdnia Methodist church entertained the members of me Wilber M.Y.F.

at a Halloween party one evening at the Fire- mens Hall. Included in the entertainment was a "scavenger hunt" and various other games. Refreshments were served later in fine evening. Mr. and Mrs.

Raymond Rehm and Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Henke attended Petroleum Marketers Convention from Sunday afternoon to Tuesday evening which was held at the Cornhus- ker Hotel in Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs.

William Haecker, Pickrell, were Sunday afternoon visitors of Mr. and Mrs. A. 0. Kindschi.

Mrs. Ella Brewlnng left Sunday to spend several weeks with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Schwisow, DeWitt. Mr.

and Mrs. Frank Miller and their house guests, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lewis, Mitchell, S.D., spent Friday evening in the Gilbert Miller home. Mr.

and Mrs. Willis Nickel and Nancy, Wilber, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wendoff before attending the Centennial services at the Methodist Church. Mrs.

Homer Schnell, Janet Jerome and James, Crete, visited Mrs. Minnie Yost Saturday evening. Sunday evening visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Klrchoff and Marilyn.

Mrs, Marie Long arrived Sunday from San Francisco to visit her sister and family, the Paul Rhynalds and her mother, Mrs. Rose Brunk at Fairbury, also other relatives and friends in the area. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dwan and Mr.

and Mrs. Everett Burnette, Benton Harbor, came to Fairbury one evening to fly back the plane they had left there early in the fall after it was damaged in landing. Mr. and Paul Rhynalds met and entertained them at dinner in Fairbury that evening. They planned io return to Michigan the next morning.

Afternoon visitors in the John Lisec home were Mr. and Mrs. August Prokop, Swanton, and Mr. and Mrs. Prok Pospichal, Omaha.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jahnke accompanied by Ben Kumpost drove to Wilber and were supper guests in the Ed Cerney home. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs.

Matzke and girls, Bellevue. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schwisow and Kenneth spent the weekend at Omaha as guests of Mr. and Mrs.

John Rezek and sons. Mr. and Mrs. Louie Homolka and Bonnie Gross spent Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs.

Lumir Vacek and family. Mary Tenopir and Larry Fikar spent Monday evening in the Laurence Markey home. Mr. and Mrs. Kelch, Fairbury, visited in' the Fred Zabel dome.

Last week house guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lumir Vacek and family were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lodal and small son, Two Rivers, and Mr.

Howard Kruger, Manitowoc, Wis. Tuesday evening all visited Lumir's mother, Mrs. Vacek at Wilber and Thursday evening the group were supper guests and spent the evening with Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Vacek and children.

Those from Western who attended the reunion at the Mumby School were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wahl, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schnell, Mr.

and Mrs. Norbert Slepicka, Mr. and Mrs. Felix Barta and Mr. and Mrs.

Waldon Wiegers, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Murphy. Mr. and Mrs.

Emil Henk entertained at Monday dinner Maj. and Mrs. A. C. Krajnik and family, Richards Gabour Base, Mo.
