HARRISBURG ACADEMY np1 Close School at Stoyerdale Last Sessions Are Held on Sunday For Present Year The Community Sunday School held its last meeting for the sum mer on Sunday morning. Wayne S. Graeff taught the lesson to the entire school. Reports were read and approved. Gifts for perfect attendance were awarded to Marie Patrick and Bobby Rogers.

The executive committee, met at the home of the assistant superintendent J. B. Fortenbaugh at "Cozy Nook" on Labor Day afternoon to arrange for speakers for the coming year, and other routine business. Present were Grover C. Wolfe, superintendent; J.

B. Fortenbaugh, assistant superintendent: Mrs, Ethel R. Knisely, superintendent, junior department; Mrs. Clinton Hocker, treasurer; Mrs. Ernest Rogers, pianist; Kenneth Hocker, secretary; Richard I.

Clouser, trustee. Mrs. Clinton Hocker gave a farewell party to a number of her friends who were leaving the grove on Labor Day evening. Present at her cottage, "Sunny Nook," were Mr. and Mrs.

J. B. Fortenbaugh, Harrisburg, spent the Labor Day holidays at their cottage "Cozy Nook." Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Brink were Sunday guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Blain Hocker, Oberlin, called on Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hocker "Sunny Nook" on Sunday.

Mrs. Carroll Strunk, Jimmie and Donald Strunk, Hummelstown, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. William Patrick at "Wohelo" cottage. Sunday guests of Mr.

The Kugler Women's Mission ary Society of Zion Lutheran Church, will hold its fall rally and annual dues social tomorrow evening in the social rooms of the church.

Mrs. Paul Parthemore is the chairman. The business meet ing will be in charge of Mrs. Jackson W. Waidlich, president of the society.

LANCASTER Season St. Mary's Church Scene of Wedding Mary McConlogue Bride of E. Ruane St. Mary's Catholic Church was the scene of the marriage Monday morning of Miss Mary Mc Conl'ogue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

The Rev. Schwike officiated. The bride wore a gown of white satin, with Irish lace trim and a finger tip veil. Her flowers were white roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Kathryn DeLuca, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and was gowned in peach lace.

She carried a shower bouquet of talisman roses. Lino Magnelli attended Mr. Boova as best man. Following the ceremony, a re ception was held at the Brooklyn ballroom, Lewistown. Mr.

and Mrs. Boova left on a wedding trip to Newark, N. and New York City. Mrs. Boova, who is a graduate of the Newport High School, is an attendant at the Harrisburg State Hospital, Mr.
