March 19, 1964 WINONA DAILY NEWS PREPARE FOR CONCERT Some of the participants who will perform in the Palm Sunday afternoon sacred concert at St. Mary's College practice here Seated at Faculty Wives Chorus, Chapel Choir to Give Sacred Concert In preparation for the solem-1 nities of Holy Week and the joys of the Easter season, the Chapel Choir and the Faculty Wives Chorus of St. Mary's College will present a sacred concert Palm Sunday at 4 p.m. in the college's auditorium. The concert is open to the public free of charge; no reservations are necessary.

FRIEDMONT Eagles Auxiliary Plans Anniversary Dinner Celebration Plans for the Winona Eagles Auxiliary's 30th anniversary celebration were made when the group met Monday evening at Eagles Hall. After the business session, cards were played for prizes. Mrs. Bradford Johnson presided.

The anniversary will he noted at a 6:30 p.m. dinner at The Oaks April 6. Guests from the Minnesota State Auxiliary are being invited and it is anticipated that the state president will make her official visit at that time. It was announced that dinner reservations are to be made by April 3 with Mrs. Walter Hoppe.

Members who need transportation are to be at the Eagles Club by 5:45 p.m. the evening of the dinner and are to make arrangements before hand with Mrs. LeVerne Heickley. After the dinner, a meeting will be held at 8 p.m. at Eagles Hall, when a class of candidates will be initiated by the degree team and floor work will be done by the drill team.

All officers will wear white and the drill team be in uniform Candidates will be voted upon at a special meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at Eagles Hall. Mrs. Johnson announed that members wishing to attend the 15th anniversary dinner of the Owatonna Eagles Auxiliary may call her for transportation arrangements. Winners at cards were Mmes.

Herbert Teska, Peter Giemza and Leonard Helgemoe. Mrs. Heickley won the gift of the evening. Hostesses were Mmes. Jacob Tungesvik and Johnson.

Farewell Party Held For Richard Millers Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller, rural Lake City were honored guests at a recent farewell party held at their home. The event was sponsored by members the Birthday Club of Miller Lincoln. is a member.

Iverson, Rushford, announce the coming marriage of their daughter, Miss Gayle Marie Iverson, San Francisco, to Salvador Barillas, Guatemala City, Guatemala. The marriage will be April 11 at Reno, Nev. Miss Iverson completed three years at the University of Minnesota, with a major in international relations and foreign languages. She recently taught English and studied in Guatemala City. She plans to do graduate work in foreign languages.

Her fiance is a ballet dancer and professor of ballet. He has danced and taught with the National Ballet of Guatemala and the Bordeaux Ballet of Bordeaux, France, for the past eight years.
