Municipal Court WINONA Leonard Dienger, 18, 655 Grand pleaded guilty to charges of failing to stop for a stop sign and failing to display current registration plates on a motor vehicle. He paid a $10 fine on the first charge and a $5 fine on the second. He was arrested by city police at East 5th and Laird streets at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday morning. Mrs. Lois Hill HARMONY, Minn. (Special) Mrs. Lois Hill, a former resident of Harmony, died Monday at Hinsdale Hospital in Downers Grove, at the age of 97.

She left here 27 years ago. She was born in Granger March 19, 1868. Her husband was the late Charles W. Hill. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs.

Hazel Turk, Downers Grove, Mrs. Virginia Talley, Winona, and Mrs. Helen Smith, Berkeley, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren child. and Two one sons, great grand. Dwight and Joseph of Harmony preceded her in death, Funeral services will be at the Peterson Abraham Funeral Home here at 2 p.m.

Thursday, the Rev. James Beatty of Canton Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in State Line Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Thursday.

Samuel McConnell EYOTA, Minn. (Special) Samuel Timothy McConnell, who would have been a senior at Dover-Eyota High School this fall, was found dead in his bed by his parents at their home in Eyota this morning. Cause of death was an illness of the intestinal tract, with which he had suffered three years. Known as Timmie, he was born Aug. 9, 1947, at Rochester to Mr.

and Mrs. Fabian McConnell. He had lived in Eyota since birth. He had been a student at St. Francis School one year and at Lourdes High School one year, both at Rochester.

Richard Thoman FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. (Special) Funeral services for Mrs. Richard Thoman will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John's United Church of Christ, the Rev.

George H. Schowalter officiating. Burial will be in Fountain City public cemetery, with graveside services to be conthe Eastern Star. Pallbearers will be Charles Prussing, William Krause, C. Paul Venables, James Kirchner, Vyrle Abbott and Melvin Platt.

Gross National Product Rises WASHINGTON (AP) The Gross National Product rose to an adjusted annual rate of $658 billion in the second quarter of this year, up $9 billion from the first three months, the Department of Commerce reported today. The preliminary estimate showed, however, that the AprilJune rise was below the $14-billion gain registered in the first quarter. The government attributed that sharp increase to the unusual expansion of automobile production after the strike during the last three months of 1964.

The department said the April-June rise was the 17th successive increase in the Gross National Product since the recession low in the first three months of 1961. (Special) Mrs. Grace Wilson Kuckuck, 75, Tomah, died Monday evening at Buffalo Memorial Hospital, Mondovi. She had been ill about six weeks, spending part of the time in the hospital and at the home of her daughter here. She was born Oct. 11, 1889, at Tomah and spent her lifetime there until coming to Mondovi.

She was married to Delbert Wilson Aug. 20, 1913. He died in 1954. She was married to George Kuckuck in 1961. He died the same year.

She was a member of the Congregational Church and Eastern Star, Tomah. Survivors are: One daughter, Mrs. Aspen (Leone) Ede, Mondovi, and one granddaughter, Carol. The funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Congregational Church, Tomah, the Rev.

Harold Haugland of Central Lutheran Church, Mondovi, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah. Friends may call Thursday afternoon and evening at White Funeral Home, Tomah. Kjentvet Sons Funeral Home, Mondovi, is in charge of arrangements. Oscar E.

Stauty ARKANSAW, Wis. (Special)Oscar E. Stauty, 81, died Thursday at St. Benedict's Community Hospital, Durand, after a brief illness. He was born in Pine City, June 11, 1884, to Mr.

and Mrs. Charles Stauty, and he tled here in 1947 after retiring from 38 years of service with the Duluth, Western Pacific Railroad. He first married Hella Paulson, who died in 1944. He married Ruby Stolquist Dec. 27, 1947.

Survivors are: His wife; one son, Vern, Virginia, four daughters, Mrs. Archie (Gladys) Pajunin, Page, Mrs. John (Edna) Nelson, Mankato, Mrs. Leroy (Vivian) Terrio, Mountain Iron, and Mrs. Albert (Lola) Heikkila, Virgin- Fillmore Co.

Board OKs Some Levies PRESTON, Minn. (Special) The Fillmore County Board of Commissioners Monday levied $160,000 for the revenue fund for next $400,000 for roads and bridges; $40,000 for county school tax tuition fund: one mill for the county fair, half of it designated for improvement and construction, and established a new fund one mill for a building fund. This is earmarked for a new county jail. The welfare levy won't be made until September. The commissioners will open bids Aug.

10 for a new county highway department garage at Spring Valley. Bids will be opened Aug. 24 on three trucks the highway department needs for maintenance and snowplow. ing. Reimbursement for the Prairie Clarence Timm PLAINVIEW, Minn.

Clarat St. Elizabeth's Hospital, ence Timm, 63, died basha, after a short illness, The operator of a restaurant here from 1934 until a fire destroyed the business last year, Mr. Timm was born here March 26, 1902. He married Bertha Mahler in Racine, July 24, 1926. He was a member of the Masonic lodge, the Community Club and Community Presbyterian Church here and Scottish Rite bodies of Winona.

Mr. Timm was active in community affairs, particularly sports. He played on and managed a local baseball team many years. Survivors are: His wife; five sons, Gerald, Winona; Raymond, Madison, DuWayne, Chatsworth, 'Dale, Kasson, and Richard, Plainview; 12 grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Anna Timm, Plainview, and one sister, Mrs.

Edwin (Leona) Schulte, Rochester. Two brothers have died. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Community Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Charles Schwenke officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clarence Cook, Clarence Kruger, Robert Haley, Wright Miller, Donald Harrington and Maynard Gray. Friends may call at Johnson Schriver Funeral Home here from noon Thursday until noon Friday, and at the church after 1 p.m. Friday. Mrs.

Edward Krause ETTRICK, Wis. (Special) Mrs. Edward Krause, 60, Granton, native of Ettrick, died suddenly Monday evening at a Neillsville hospital. The former Esther Brohelden, she was born at Ettrick April 4, 1905, to Mr. and Mrs.

Anton Brohelden. She attended the former school for the deaf at La Crosse eight years and the state school for the deaf at Delavan four years. She was married at Granton July 25, 1937. She was a member of the Silent Lutheran Church for the deaf at Black River Falls. Survivors are: Her husband, also deaf, and two sisters, Mrs.

Stanley (Bernice) Klinkenberg, South Beaver Creek, and Mrs. Alvin (Stella) Twinde, La Crosse. Two children have died: Avenue, Maple to Cedar Street, resurfacing project in Mabel was authorized when the actual cost is determined and funds are available. It is a state aid project. 0.

The board dissolved two closed common school districts, No. 497, Grubtown near Highland, and 499, Tenborg near Rushford. They will be annexed to operating school districts later.
