Sunday Newspaper. 3 FOREIGN WAR VETERANS TO PROVIDE HEADSTONES FOR GRAVES TTAVE you a son, husband, brother or other relatives -who served in any war in the United States army, navy or marine corps, who is buried in or near El Paso, and whose grave is unmarked, or do you know of the grave of any soldier who so served and who died without relatives, and is buried here? if so, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Davis-Searnon post No, 812, will assist in obtaining from the government a suitable headstone to mark his grave. These headstones are furnished by the government, delivered free of charge to the depot, and the veterans will furnish transportation to the grave, so that all that is necessary' tor relatives or friends is to see tliat the stone is properly set. The only conditions are that there is now no permanent monument or headstone at the grave and that the relatives of friends do not intend to erect such monument.

The headstones are of the best American white marble, those for civil and Spanish war veterans being 29 inches Jong. 12 inches wide and four inches thick, and those for World war veterans 42 inches long. 13 inches wide and four inches thick. Indians' Statues Of Saints Found In Santa Fe Store Santa Fe. N. March 31 (SP) santos or small statues of saints were found in a curio store here, when an officer visited the place with a search warrant Issued by judge Reed Holloman on an affidavit by Juan Gonzales, lieutenant governor of San lldefonso pubelo, to which they were believed to belong. The santos were taken to district attorney Alex office and identified as San lldefonso, San Antonio and Santa Maria or the Blessed Virgin. The santos were given up willingly by the curio man when they were claimed to be those taken from San lldefonso pueblo.

Others Are Missing. Other santos recently were reported missing from Chimayo and Pojoaque and the district attorney said a search was being made for these. A second arrest at Albuquerque warf reported by Read in connection with the theft of an old bell from the yard of the Church of Our Lady of Gudalupe here, which recently was found In a curio store at Albuquerque. One man, Ramon Jiminez, was already under arrest here. This bell was cast long before the civil war for a private chapel here and, when this was closed, given to the church.

Louis, March 31 Missouri. Kansas Texas railway will emerge from the receivership into which it was thrown in September, 1915, at midnight tonight, when a new company, incorporated as the Missouri-Kansas-Texas railroad, will begin operation of the system. C. E. Schaff, receiver for the old railway, is president of the new system, having been elected to that position in the reorganization of the Katy after its sale in bankruptcy.

The El Paso Southwestern tonnage into mining towns of Arizona for March will be about double that of February, according to Eugene Fox, vice president in charge of traffic. He and W. C.
