The clock, devised and built by the late Karl Schleutermann of Berea, is 13 feet from the base of the pendulum to the peak of the roof and weighs 1,500 pounds. Construction of the clock took seven months.

The Heidi Chalet dining room is currently open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. serving lunches and complete meals.
