Queens Baptist church celebrated its "eighth anniversary yesterday by honoring Henry Washington- Howell, who organized the church eight years ago. The Rev. J.

Earle Edwards, pas tor of. the chureh, gave way to Howell, who is senior deacon, and who selected the Scripture, the hymns and the pastor text- for the evening service. An airport on the roof of the Bush Terminal is under consideration liy oilii-ials of the Bush Terminal Merchants and Manufacturers' association. Plans for this modern conversion of roof-tops was revealed with the announcement that two planes, one a 'JO-passenirer sea plane, will make daily tliirhts from the Bush Terminal building to Philadelphia, Commencing tomorrow. This is believed to be the first attempt to link up industrial districts, as such, in separate cities by plane.

The anniversary of' the church fell on Howell's 74th birthday, and SAY he told the congregation how, eight years ago, he had called eight friends to his Maple ave. home and started the movement for the church which now has a membership of S00 and a large Sunday school.
