Cornell ripped through Dartmouth for three touchdowns in the first half today to win the annual battle of old rivals, 21 to 6, and close a disastrous season for the Hanover Indians with their fourth major defeat. 12 (JP). Tulane staged a last-minute drive here today to defeat Kentucky, 6 to 3. After three scoreless periods Ralph Kercheval of the Wildcats kicked a field goal in the fourth period. Second Period. Cornell scored two more touchdowns in the second period. Viviano scored the first on a 2 yard plunge through center as the climax of a 60 yard drive down field. The second game on a 27 yard pass over the goal line from Switzer to Martinez-Zorrilla. Score: Cornell 21, Dartmouth 0.

Viviano scored the Big Red's second touchdown on a two yard plunge through center after he had started a 60 yard drive early in the second quarter with a five yard run back of Hill's kick. Viviano plunged ten yards through the heart of the Dartmouth line, and two long passes, together eating up almost 40 yards, from Switzer to Beyer, set the ball for Viviano two yards from the Hanover goaL George again place-kicked the point and Cornell led 14 to 0. A neat pass from Switzer to Joe Martinez-Zorilla, 27 yards over the goal line, scored Cornell's third touchdown after a punt touched a Dartmouth man and was recovered on the Green 27 yard line by Frank Murdock, Cornell guard. George kicked successfully again. Score: Cornell 21, Dartmouth 0.

Third Period. After Switzer fumbled on Cornell 'a 36 early in the third quarter, Dartmouth smashed through to a touchdown. Embry recovered the fumble for Dartmouth and in three plays, the last a pass from Hill to Powers, the Hanover Indians put the ball across. Cornell marched 62 yards to Dartmouth's 18 just before the close of the period but Dartmouth held there. Fourth Period.

Jack Wallace, crack Cornell end, blocked one of Hill's punt3 on Dartmouth's 27 yard line, and with the aid of Viviano's plungin and a fifteen yard penalty for piling on, the Red Wave made a first down on Dartmouth's 2 yard line. Here the Green line held for downs. Viviano intercepted Hill's pass on the Green 25 yard line and raced to the 14. The whistle ended the game as Cornell subs plunged to Dartmouth's 5 yard line. Final score: Cornell 21, Dartmouth 6.
