Assisting Miss Fielding in the collection were Misses Paula Bell, Darlene Barrett, Bridget Whitaker and Mary Queen and Lex Barnett, all students at, Cotter High School. The volunteer workers expressed their thanks to all who contributed to the drive.

Chicago Rites for John A. Nakis, G1 Funeral services were con L. E. Lueck, 47, Former BC Citizen ducted Monday at Chicago, 111., for John A. Nakis, 81, of 848 U.S.

Lawrence E. Lueck, 47, a na tive of Brule, died at his farm at Proctor, on Friday, March 21. He farmed in Highway 62 NE, who died at a local hospital Wednesday of last week. Rena McGee of Texas, Mrs. Liza Haley of Illinois, Mrs. Nellie Dye of Oklahoma, Mrs. Cora Frantzmier of Wisconsin, Mrs. Clella Gale of Kansas and Mrs.

Delia Douglass of Missouri; 21 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. Bro. Clifford Pittaway of Route 1, Gassville, a Church of Christ minister, will officiate at tomorrow's rites. Interment will be in the Conley Cemetery, under the direction of the McClure Service. WSCS Meet Set At Bull Shoals The Women's Society ofChris-tian Service of the Bull Shoals Methodist Church will meet at the church next Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.

Mrs. Phyllis McCurdy and Mrs. Mildred Hale will serve as hostesses and Mrs. Rosalie Batchelder will be in charge of the lesson. The Men's Club will meet at the church for a potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m.

He is a graduate of Colorado State University at Fort Collins, and has a BS degree in range management and an MS in forestry. He has been with the Soil Conservation Service since 1948 and has worked in Arkansas since 1961. "Mud," a film pertaining to the developing of new areas, was shown by J. G. Horton, local work unit conservationist with the Soil Conservation Service.

Ivan Porter of Little Rock, shown at rear with a pointer, range conservationist with the Soil Conservation Service, was guest lecturer last Thursday at a class on the raising of beef cattle. The class is a part of a one-year training project for 20 ranchers in the Mountain Home area. W. J. Blisard of Mountain Home, standing with Porter, is the project instructor.
