Swadley Funeral services for William Edgar Swadley, 79, lifetime resident of Cotter will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cotter Church of Christ. Brother Ron Davenport and Brother Doyle Davenport will be officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.

to 9 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. Mr. Swadley died Saturday (May 24) at Bull Shoals Community Hospital.

He was born July 1, 1906, at Springfield, Mo. He was a stonemason. He married the former Pearl Marie Foster Feb. 22, 1929, at Mountain Home. Survivors include his wife at home; two sons, William Ray Swadley of Cotter and James Edward Swadley of Gassville; four daughters, Ruth Lewis of Cave City, Fannie Kasinger and Bonnie Reed, both of Gassville, and Carol Winnett of Cotter; one brother, Mosie Swadley of Mountain Home; three sisters, Eva Messick, of Boise, Idaho, and Susie Messick and Daisy Messick of Mountain Home; 24 grandchildren; 40 greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Christian Edward and Susie Elizabeth Moffit Swadley; two brothers; two sisters; and three greatgrandchildren. He was a member of the Church of Christ Pallbearers will be Lee Gray, Harold Bates, Lynn Crownover, Howard Campbell, Jerry Medley and Leland Hurst. Julian A. He was born Jan. 28, 1919, at Cotter and was a lifetime resident of the area. He married the former Anabel Martin March 29, 1945, at Mountain Home. Mrs. Morey resides at home.

He was a retired brakeman for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur E. and Cornilia Rose Morey. He was a member of First United Methodist Chruch of Mountain Home, Johnson Veterans of Foreign Wars post at Cotter and the National Rifle Association. He served in the U.S.

Army infantry in World War II. Pallbearers will be Ray Pangle, Howard W. Flippin, Russell Flippin, Dennis Creasey, C.W. Crandall, Tommie Wren and Andy Whitfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Thompson, Dr.

Maxwell Cheney, Herbert Pitman, Sneed Collins, Chester Parrott, Vernon Flippin, Gene Powell, Frank Ortman, Quentin Wren, Burnis Huddleston, O.W. Whitaker, and Holland Crawford. Services have been set for Henry Kruse Henry H. Kruse, 74, died Sunday (May 25) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.

Wednesday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Carney officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home; the family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m.

Tuesday. Burial will be at Baxter Memorial Gardens. A former resident of Middletown, Ohio, he had been a resident of Mountain Home since October 1985. He was born May 15, 1912, in Bronx, N.Y. He was chief electrical engineer with McGraw Construction Company.

He married the former Mary Louise Ballard Nov. 29, 1974, at Middle- town. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife at home; two sons, Paul Kruse of St. Charles, and Henry J.

Kruse of West Memphis; two daughters, Elma Diamond of Laguna Beach, and Ada Christine Boyer of Newhall, one sister, Christine Wassmuth of Clinton Corners, N.Y.: 10 grandchildren and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry G. and Anna Holtzwarth Kruse and his first wife, Ester Harriet Kruse. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Foundation. Visitation for Alice Bennett will be today Funeral services for Alice I.

Bennett, 64, resident of Mountain Home for 15 years will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John M. McCormack will be officaiting.

Mrs. Bennett died Friday (May 23) in an automobile accident on State Highway 201 South. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m Wednesday at Southlawn Memorial Gardens at Atlantic, Iowa. A former resident of Atlantic, she was a housewife and a retired telephone operator. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, Buford Extension Homemakers Club and the Republican Party Committee. She was born Nov. 10, 1921, at Massena, Iowa.

She married William H.C. Bennett Dec. 10, 1941, at Denver, Colo. Survivors include her husband at home; two sons, John Bennett of Roswell, and James Bennett of Des Moines, Iowa; two daughters, Jean Comer of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Cindy Bennett of Cotter; three sisters, Nancy Allison and Joyce Hollen of Denver and Herriett Landon of Cumberland, Iowa; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Ester Beyers Hollen.

Margaret R. Karie of Bull Shoals dies Margaret R. Karie, 49, resident of Bull Shoals for three years, died Saturday (May 24) at her home. A former resident of Simi Valley, she was a housewife. She was born July 16, 1936, at Northeast, Md.

She married Warren L. Karie Aug. 8, 1955, at Northeast. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband at home; two sons, Michael Karie of Mojave, and Mark Karie of Palmdale, one daughter, Bridget Karie of Bull Shoals; five brothers, Burns Ford, Vernon Ford, Alvin Ford, Henry Ford, and Aldridge Ford, all of Northeast; five sisters, Eva Jorgeson of Thousand Oaks, Ellen Swazey and Betty Underhill of Palmdale, Sarah Tetso of Baltimore, and Martha Scarberry of Dover, Del; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Anna Witt Ford and one brother. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Interment will be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Diabetes Foundation. Arrangements are by Bull Shoals Roller Funeral Home.

Arland Jones, manager of Blue Paradise Resort, reported that sometime between 9 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday a red 10-amp auto Bass Pro model 507-830 Schumacher battery charger valued at $50 and belonging to Tom Buettmann of Manchester, was stolen from the resort's boat dock. Ted Arnold of Midway reported to the sheriff's department that seven mailboxes belonging to residents on County Road 10 at Midway were either pushed over or were damaged in other ways sometime between 3 and 9 a.m.
