Submit clear photo to the newspaper Wedding and engagement photos reproduce best if a good-quality black-and-white photo is submitted for publication. However, a good, close-up color photo will also work if there is plenty of contrast. Photos that look fuzzy or that have the people at a distance usually reproduce poorly. A good guide is to look for a photo where the face or faces are about the size of a quarter.

If the faces are much smaller than that, the photo will have to be greatly enlarged and probably will not reproduce well. For photos of couples, the best shots are ones where the man and woman are shown with their heads at about the same height. The Gazette can crop out other people in a photo in some, but not all cases. It is best to look for a shot that has the woman or couple separate from others. pKA 1 We're The fjf Wedding Experts.
