English, 51, of 1203 Forest ave SE, collapsed while walking with his wife on 6th st SW Saturday afternoon and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Massillon city hospital at 5 p. m. Death was apparently caused by a heart attack.

Gladys Ryan Robinson Mrs. Gladys Ryan Robinson, 63, NE Canton former a. m. today in the Loretto Home for the Aged in Canton. Miss Peppard had resided in Lyndhurst, Ohio, prior to coming to Massillon about a year and a half ago to live at the rectory with her brother.

She formerly had been employed in the office of another brother, in Mercy hospital in Canton, after an exteneded illness. Mrs. Robinson left the Canton area in 1947 to become head housekeeper at the El Hancho Vegas hotel in. Las Vegas, Nev. She returned to Canton two years ago.

Mrs. Robinson is survivied by Joseph P. Peppard of Lynd- her husband, Melvin E. Robin- hurst, who also survives her. She son; two daughters.

Mrs. Joseph had been confined to the Loretto Rey of La Mesa, Cal. and Mrs. home less than a month. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 m.

They have been in congress long enough to qualify for hefty $18,000 a year in the case of Spence and Taber. Seventeen other senators and representatives have made their own decisions to return to private life. Nine members have abandoned their house seats to seek senator- ships.
