LONDON, MONDAY, DECEMBER 1S03. I During the past few days a number of arrests have been made Sofia in connection with a plot to murder Prince Ferdinand of Bulgaria and M. The ringleader, a former Bulgarian officer of disreputable antecedents, named Ivanotl', was arrested after a long pursuit, and divulged the nitureof the conspiracy which to kill the Prince and the Minister during the recent funeral of Prince Alexander. Fortunately, however, the plot was discovered two days before the interment.

COMMENCING cm WEDNESDAY. Deeeinber the 2Uth. These entertainments will be dfsigneil with a view of catering tor the taste of tin.se of our young folk whose minds are not yet prepared for the riper humour ot the music-hall, and who still preserve their faith in the unspoiled beauty of a fairy legend an 1 the natural fun and frolic of a boyish story It will bar Uy seem an exaggeration to suggest that some at least of the entertainments professeuly provided for the enjoyment of the young are now too richly ovi rlaia ith allusions to topics suited only to the educated taste of ruaturor years. They are of a class, in short, to whicn indulgent children may fitly consent to take their parents and witnout artei-ling to compete with the more splendid spectacular displays which attract deserved popularity at this season, the Manager of the Comedy theatre feels that there is still room for a simpler sort of entertainment to inch parents may occasionally care to take their children. In this belief he has secured for his opening nrogramme a new poetical version of THE PIPER OF HA.MELIN, by Mr.
