Daniel Balbic, the bride's stepfather, escorted her to the altar. The bride was attired, in a long imported silk organza gown i reembroidered Alencon lace. The gown, styled with an empire waistline, had a fitted bodice with a batteau neckline and long sleeves, tapering to points at the wrist and closing with self covered buttons. Alencon embroidered with crystals and seed pearl's highlighted the bodice and extended onto the controlled A-lirie skirt and to the chapel bouffant train, flowing from the back waistline. Her tiered bouffant veil of Imported illusion cascaded from a crown adorned with crystals and rosebuds.

Michael Reed served as best man and ushers were Michael Johnson, brother of bridegroom, and James Feury. For her wedding, Mrs. Babic wore a pink evening suit with bead and seed pearl trim and matching accessories. The bridegroom's mother chose a one-piece medium blue dress with braided trim and matching accessories. Both wore pink lily corsages.

A reception was held in Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church, where the bride's table wa's draped in lace and decorated with pink bows and streamers. It was centeret with a four-tiered cake toppec with the traditional bride anc bridegroom beneath a cluster of bells. Simms OAK HILL (RNS) Harvey F. Carter, 63, of Oak Hill died in an Oak Hill hospital at 8 a.m. Friday after a long illness. He was a retired carpenter. Bom Sept.

26, 1905, in Summers County, he was a son of the late J. B. and Nora C. Carter. Survivors include his wife, Mrs.

D. (Dusty) iRhodes, project chairman for the Lewisburg Chamber of Commerce. Rhodes told i Elotarians that several months of study and planning had gone into the project and an application is soon to be made State Board of Health at Charleston for a "Go" signal.

The proposed new medical facility will be 175 feet by 66 feet with three stories and a full basement. The original plans call for a 54-bed capacity, expandable to 115 beds should expansion. The new hospital, to be known a Greenbrier i Hospital, is to be located on five acres of land on Route 219, just north of the Lewisburg city limits. Estimated cost oJ construction is $2,500,000 plus the land cost and is to be funded by federal agencies (90 per cent) and local subscriptions (10 per cent). A newly chartered non-profit corporation is handling the mechanics of organization and at least four doctors already have committed themselves to become staff members when the new facility is complete, Rhodes said.
