A pleasing service was conducted at the Tabernacle Church on last Sunday. At eleven o'clock the pastor. Rev. T. Clark, gave a very profitable and helpful discourse to the congregation.

At 12:30 the Sunday School opened its session with a large crowd. Following class discussions by tbe teacher the pastoi illustrated with diagram on the black board topics relating to the lesson on the "Infancy of Jesus" to the younger children. At the eight o'clock service. Rev. Clark again gave a thoughtful message to his congregation.

The junior choir, assisted by Miss Euna Weeks at the piano, furnished the music. A trio consisting of Misses Erna and Elsie Weeks and Evelyn Roett pleased the audience with sweet sifigirg. Woodson gave a fine but brief address on the opinions and the privileges to express the same. Attorney Epstein, leader and Republican candidate for Municipal Court Judge made a remarkable impression upon the audience. He emphasized liberty and a square deal for all. On Thursday evening the church Khool presented the African plsy let directed by Euna Weeks assisted by Miriam King. It was a most interesting and attractive affair presented in a realistic manner.

The Anti Cant Club is to be highly congratulated for the fine presentation. The play was written by the pastor. Rev. T. G.

Dark, who was in Africa as a missionary for seversl years. This first lecture of the series will be concerned with the part that laymen can in the nrevention and cure of various social disease Dr. Peyton who is well known to older Brooklynites, is a former basketball star at Carlton and is an accomplished musician. He has been a practicing physician for the past fourteen year both in greater New York and Europe, and has just completed post graduate studies in Paris London, During his tUy in Europe he had the distinction of lec turing to Swedish specialists at the Royal Strafin Hospital In Stockholm. His lectures at Carlton will be confined to a venereal disease, Lympho pathia Venereum, which infects various lymph glands of the human body.

It is a disease of the rectum, which has been spreading rapidly in country in the last few years. Although the name ia probably unfamiliar to laymen, it has held the serious attention of medical authorities for a long time.
