and Mrs. Robert Newcomb. The Ed Wilborns lived in Memphis for 16 years prior to their move to Birmingham in 1976. They reared four children in Memphis: the late Rev. Barry Wilborn of Savannah, Robert D.

Wilborn of Atlanta, Brenda Hall of Germantown and Barbara Schmitt of Shreveport. The Wilborns were asked how they kept their marriage together for so long. "To say that we have never had an argument or disagreement is to deny the truth. But, to us, problems are made to be solved and resolved through love and understanding; by using our minds and our hearts. To run away or separate is to admit defeat.

Happiness in marriage comes through self-denial, sharing and most of all through love and trust in each other." The home of Mr, and Mrs. L.C. Harmon of 4C62 Chickasaw in Memphis, was the setting on Jan. 30 for the 45th wedding anniversary celebration of Ed and Margaret Wil-born of Birmingham, AL, both formerly of Memphis. In addition to the Harmons, hosts and hostesses for the occasion were Mr.

and Mrs. Russell S. Hall of Germantown and Mrs. Robert D. Wilborn of Atlanta, formerly of Germantown.

Mrs. Wilborn wore a teal blue silk dress by Liz Claiborne, with tucked bodice and pleated skirt. The 21 guests in attendance were: Mrs. Holloway Melton, Mr. and Mrs.

John Wagner of Germantown, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cannon, Mrs. Lou Kennedy, Mr. and Mrs.

Leon Bur-kett of Sandestin, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ryland, Mr. and Mrs. A.B.

Steele, Mr. and Mrs. James P. Houston, Mr. and Mrs.

Eugene Carroll of 4 i It ''V'j ft! 1 Margaret Lynn Reisser Vicki Lea Holloway Reisser-Windburne Holloway-Arthur '1 Dr. and Mrs. John M. Reisser announce the forth coming marriage of their daughter Margaret Lynn to Mr. Mark Edward Win-burne.

Mr. Winburne is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward R. Winburne of Memphis.

He is a copy writer with the Buntin Advertising Agency in Nashville Ms. Reisser is an assistant editor with the Commercial Appeal. The ceremony will take place Feb. 20 at St. Louis Catholic Church.

The appointed time is 8:00 p.m. Following the nuptials a cocktail buffet reception will be held at the Summit Club. Jim Mahannah's Orchestra will provide the entertainment for the guests. Vicki Lea Holloway and Andrew Wilson Arthur, Jr. are planning a February 6 wedding at First United Methodist Church with reception at the Covington Country Club.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William Morgan Holloway of Covington and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Wilson Arthur of Germantown.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. Ollie Wilson and Mrs. Sadie Holloway of Covington. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs.

Cecil Morgan Benson of Forest Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Arthur of Germantown. Miss Holloway is a graduate of Covington High School and UT Martin. She is employed with McKesson Group of Memphis.

Mr; Arthur graduated from Germantown High School and University of Mississippi. He is presently employed by Manufactures Rubber Supply Inc. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wilborn (front row, center) are shown at their 45th wedding anniversary celebration with guests (from left) Mrs.
