McNEW, Raymond Lee, age 71, of Kettering, passed away Sunday. Retired employee of East gate Ford. Member of Beavercreek Moose Lodge American Legion Post 763. Survived by sons. Tim, Ronnie Si Lonnie; several grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.

Graveside services 10 00 A M. Tuesday at Memonal Park Cemetery. Arrangements Schlientz Si Moore Funeral Home, Dayton. PRINE, Lawrence passed away in Greene Memorial Hospital on February 4. 1996.

following a lengthy illness. He was born in Adams County, OH, on December 24, 1914, to Charlie andlrene (Bennington) Prine. After moving to Greene County, he became a member of First United Presbyterian Church where he served as a Trustee for many yeats. Following the toma'do and merger of 1st 2nd U.P. Churches, he became chairman of the building committee for the construction of the facilities of Memorial United Presbyterian Church.

He continued to faithfully serve the church in various capacities until the time of his death. Mr. Prine was a prominent resident of Beavercreek Township for 24 years. During this time he developed three major residential areas including Albein Homes, Woodhaven Homes, and Woodside Park. He was the general contractor for many of the homes built in these developments.

1960 he purchased property south of Xenia where he established his picturesque home in 1964. There he was involved in raising Black Angus cattle and Suffolk sheep. He won numerous prizes for many of the sheep he showed at various county fairs. Another of his significant contributions to the community was he overseeing of the construction of the Blue Jacket Amphitheater and his service on the Board of Trustees for the outdoor theater. In 1987 he moved to Xenia Township and finished his last development, Highland Terrace, in 1994.

Mr. Prine is survived by his wife, Robin-ette Williams Prine, whom he married on May 22, 1939. They celebrated 56 joyful years of marriage last May. He is also survived by their daughter, Kathy, wife of Reverend David K. Path, Bowling Green, OH; two grandsons, David Kelly) Fath Jr.

of Grand Haven, MI, and D. Kevin Fath and his wife Heather, of Xenia; a sister, Helen West, formerly of Beavercreek, also survives. Services will be heldat 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Memorial United Presbyterian Church, 343 West An-keney Mill Road, Xenia. Dr.

Vera was a faithful member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church throughout her life and was a member of the Vandalia Butler Historical Society. She retired after working over 25 years in the meat packing industry, having worked at the Sucher, Folcke and East Dayton Meat Packing Companies. She is preceded in death by brother.RussellHollon; and sisters, Mildred McFarlandand Geneva Ritchie. Married 49 years, John and Etta are now together, forever.
