EVANGELICAL CHURCH Of TRANSFIGURATION On Palm Sunday, the Evangelical Church of the Transfiguration, 4 West 126th street, held their confirmation services at St Paul Lutheran Church. 47 boys and girls were confirmed by Rev. Z. Corbe assisted by Rev. Paul West.

Because of the crowd attending this service the officer of the church had to find larger quarters for the congregation which is mau up of people from the Virgin Islands who belong to the Lutheran faith. The church was started several years ago by Rev. Corbe in the Y. W. C.

and has since acquir ed its own building. It has done much among virgin Islanders on the mainland to cement them together through spirtual work, BRIDGE ST. CHURCH Palm Sunday was a great day in Bridge Street A. M. E.

Church. The auditorium was beautifully decorated with palms 'and flowers. The morning service opened with a processional by the Junior Choir. The Church was crowded to its capacity and all present seemed to be imbued with Ihe spirit of the day. The pastor, Rev.
