Attorney Jenkins stated. MWe are concerned with having thin legisla tive body create and establish Commission of Public Relations for handling and adjusting the problems of minority groups, in all and any cases where there is an abridgement of their social justice, hera racial discrimination Is In volved. Further, we are concerned with having this board appropri ate a sum of $80,000, the amount necessary to subsidize this agency over an annual period. There is no factor which is a greater challenge to the discipline and euqanimity or the American people than the threat to take away their democracy. By this same analogical reasoning you gen tlertien must realize that in this area of total war, when black boys are being called 4o shed blood for their country, side by aide with white boys: that there can be no greater contributing force to a disunity among these minorities nor a greater challenge to trie strength and Integrity of the American people, than a denial to certain group of the right to fully participate In the functions and benefits of our democracy.

Our boys are fighting for our existence. But for out existence as what? They embark upon the engagement of this struggle of total war with tha hope and tha faith and tha trust for a Double 'Victory at Home and Kv (' ft I i are fighting for tha obliteration tor all time of tha henioua curses of racial discriminations from the fair; name of America, for we know that; an allied victory at home must come first before we can have an allied victory abroad. Times have changed. These minorities are tense and' eager and restless and bitter. No i price is too high to pay to soothe their temnera for the rood or our country at this time.
