...1.1. Deaths And Funerals MRS. LEWIg A. FOX Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Fox, Salinan until 1963, died Wednesday at Boulder, Colo.

Mrs. Fox was born March 11, 1881, at Central City in county, Kas. She was a resident of Salina 43 years until moving to Boulder to live with her daughter, Mrs. Louis Divilbiss, in 1963. Her husband, Lewis Alfred, died in 1949.

He was a farmer and stockman. Fox, a member of the University Methodist Church, was active in church work She also was a rose-grower. In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Fox is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Belle Herdman, Le- Hoy, and Mrs.

A. Kansas City, six grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 am Saturday at the Rush Smith funeral home. Rev. Carlton French officiating.

Entombment will in Hillcreet mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home. ARTIMUS BROWN BOSTON, Mass. Artimus E. Brown, 75, a former Salina resident, and brother of Bradley Brown, 704 S.

Front, SaJina, died Sunday in Boston. Mr. Brown lived in Salina from 1911 to 1935 before moving to Boston. He wai born July 29 1890, at Bridgeport. Survivors inclu'de brother and a sister, Mrs.

Olivt M. Owens, South San Gabriel, Calif. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Chapel funeral borne. MILBERN W. WEED Milbern W.

Weed, 41, Oakley, died at Asbury hospital Tuesday Bight. Mr. Weed wae the Logan county register of deeds. He was born April 1924 In Mingo, and was a veteran of World War 2. Survivors Include the widow Ruth.

Local funeral arrangements are by tfat Rush Smith funeral MBS. J. ANGUS HOWIE Myrtle May Howie, 82, a resident of Carlton before moving to Salina, died Tuesday at the Ash Lawn nursing home. was born May 3, 1883. at Columbus Grove, Ohio.

She was a member of the Carlton Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mary Etta Herman, Kansas City. Mrs. Ruth Burchard, Wichita, and Mrs.

Ruby Tinkter, 1609 Gypsum; two sons, Walter, Abilene, and Gypsum; two brothers, Lynn Bogart, Topeka, and Daniel Bogart, St. Joseph, four Mrs. Laverne Carney, James Carney and Mrs. Mervin Stuck, all of California, and Mrs. William Eisele, 832 Sheridan; 17 grandchildren and 26 greatgrandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2:30 pm Thursday in the Carlton Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Norman Mettleton officiating. Burial will be in the Elmo cemetery. Friends may call at the Gillum funeral home, Gypsum. MRS.

ALLEN GARRISON MINNEAPOLIS Mrs. Ida Louise Garrison, 82, a lifetime resident of this area, died Tues- ay at her home in Delphos. She was born Oct. 23, 1882 in Glasco. Her husband, Allen died in 1960.

She was a member of the Delphos Lutheran Church. Survivors include three brothers. Otto Berndt, 301 E. Minneapolis, Salina, and Edward and Herman Berndt, both of Glasco, and two sisters, Mrs. T.

V. Mc- Glasco, and Mrs. Mary Peterson, Delphos. The funeral will be at 2 pm Friday at the Haley funeral home, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Delphos cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home. MRS. DELMAR TUCKER OSBORNE Mrs. Maude Tucker, 82, longtime Osborne resident, died Tuesday at Osborne Memorial hospital. She was born Dec.

1, 1883, at Platte City, coming to Kansas with her husband in 1907. She moved to Osborne in 1937, and was a member of the Christian church. Survivors Include three daughters, Mrs. Edna Parratt, Wheatridge, Mrs. Orpha Deering, Osborne, and Mrs.

Opal Stephenson, Alton; a son, Eugene, Osborne; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday at 2 pm in the Taylor funeral chapel, Osborne, the Rev. Richard Duckworth officiating. Burial will be in the Alton cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary.

WILLIS F. CANS Willis F. Cans, 82, of the Niles community, died at 9:20 pm Tuesday at St. John's hospital. Mr.

Cans, a retired farmer, had been an Ottawa county resident for 69 years. He lived four miles west of Niles. Survivors are two daughters, Bemiece Cans, 504 S. nth, and Mrs. Joha'liU, Brookville; two sons, Willis Bernard both of Niles; a brother, Fred, Niles, and a sister, Mrs.

D. E. Cannon, San Antonio, Fla. Mr. Gans was born.

Jan. 2, 1883, in Germany. The funeral will be at pm Friday at the St. John's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Norman Ullestad officiating.

Hospital Dismissals Driving Class At Salina High Salina high school is organizing an Adult Drivers Education class. The first class will be at 7 pm Thursday in room 122 at the high school.
