The display of fireworks in the evening was tho ilnst and largest pver made iu northern Arizona. Tho pyrotechnic display was greatly admired. The festivities of the fourth wiiero closed by a dan co at Powell's hall, given by the Coconino Cornet Band.

On Saturday night last about 0:30 tho lcsidcnco of Walter J. Hill at Volunteer Spiiugs was disco'vercd to be on fire and was burned to tho ground. Mr. Hill, who now resides in Flagstaff, was at the ranch at tho time of the fire, but was at tho buuk house, some distance from tho dwelling. Mr.

Hill saved nearly all his valuable library and a portion of his furniture. Wool Growers Meet. The eighth annual meeting of the Aiizona Sheep Breeder's and Wool Grower's Association was held iu the office of the Coconino Sex, on Tuesday evening, July 5th.

II. Campbell, the president of tho Association, called the meeting to order. Walter J. Hill, the secretary, lead the minutes of tho last meeting, whicli were approved. The subject of iodeo, marks, brands, wool washing and other matters of interest to members of the Association wero discussed with interest.
