On ac count of a shortage of coal at their Bellefonte plant, the Juniata Public Service Electric Light, Heat and Power Company is shipping coal from their plant at Millersburg to that plade, the plant here being well supplied with thousands of tons of coal taken from the Wiconisco creek during the summer. John Mackert, a resident of Millersburg for twenty two years, who moved to Sunbury, his former home, in the fall, died on Saturday. Fine quality ice was taken from the Shippen run dam this week which measured twenty inches in thickness.
