Survivors Include six brothers, Helmer, of Marshall, Carl of Sun Prairie, Lawrence Seattle, Irvin of Poynette, Otto of Madison, and Bennie of Poynette. Roberts, Floyd EVANSVILLE Floyd Roberts, age 75, of Evansville, died on Saturday, August 31, 1974, at the Stoughton Community Hospital after a brief Illness.

Born Feb. 15, 1899, in Magnolia Township, he was and had been a lifelong Evansville area resident. He had been owner and operator of Roberts Beverages. Mr. Roberts had also been employed for many years by the City of Evansville as a policeman and superintendent of parks.

He was married to Doris Medler on July 13, 1942. Survivors include his wife; a brother, Ray, Orfordville; He was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Scoville. Funeral Services will be held at the WARD FUNERAL HOME, 130 S. Fifth Evansville, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, The Rev.

A. M. (Dorothy) Ryser, age 74, of 2710 Oak Ridge Avenue, died on Sunday, September 1, 1974, at a local nursing home. Born at Mayville, Wisconsin, in 1900, she was the former Dorothy Packman. She and her husband celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this August.

Mrs. Ryser served as a veomanette in the U.S. Navy In WW. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Veterans of WW1 auxiliary and also of AARP. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Albert M.

Emery, Robert Dixon, a daughter, Mrs. June Hynum, 1120 Birch Haven Circle; 10 grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild. Becker, Rebecca Elsbeth (Elsie) BELLEVILLE Rebecca Elsbeth (Elsie) Becker, age 83, of Belleville, died on Sunday, September 1, 1974, at her daughter's home after a long Illness. Born in rural New Glarus on Feb. 19, 1891 she was the daughter of John Klassy and Mary Elmer.

Mrs. Becker was confirmed in the Swiss United Church of Christ, New Glarus, in 1907. She was married on May 16, 1912, to Melvin Becker. They had celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1962. Since 1917, she had made her home in Belleville.

She is a member of the First United Church of Christ, Belleville and its Women's Guild. Mrs. Becker Is also a member of the Relief Corps and the Royal Neighbors. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert McDermott, 4510 Wallace Monona; a son, Claude, Belleville; a sister, Silvia, Belleville; two brothers, Nic, New Glarus, Wilbert, Belleville; six grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Elmer. Funeral services will be held at the FIRST UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST Belleville, at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, The Rev. Howard Bell officiating. Burial in the Belleville Cemetery.

FLORIDA Mr. John E. Davis, age 29, of Tampa, died on Sunday, September 1, 1974. Mr. Davis was a former resident of DeForest and Madison for about six years.

Survivors include his wife, Pat, and children of Tampa, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Davis; a brother, James of Middleton, and two sisters, Mrs. Lew (Shirley) McLeish of Waunakee, Wis. and Mrs.

Hendrickson, Beulah MT. HOREB Beulah Hendrickson, age 76, of Mt. Horeb, died Sunday, September 1, 1974, at the Ingleside Nursing Home, after a long illness. Born October 11, 1897, in the Township of Perry, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Sever Goli. She was married to Palmer Hendrickson on December 1, 1926 and they lived for six years at Daleyville and spent the rest of their lives in Mt. Horeb. Mrs. Hendrickson was a lifelong member of Perry Lutheran Church, a charter member of the Perry Lutheran Ladies Aid Society and also a charter member of the Mound Vue Garden Club.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Hanley of Neenah, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the PERRY LUTHERAN CHURCH, at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, The Rev. Richard Halom officiating.

Krause, Matilda E. MIDDLETON-HILLSBORO Matilda E. Krause, age 85, formerly of Hillsboro and Middleton, died on Saturday, August 31, 1974, at a Madison hospital, after a brief illness. Born at Rockton, Wisconsin on April 29, 1889, Mrs. Krause has been a resident of the Waunakee Manor for the past five months.

She was the former Matilda Ericson. She married John H. Krause in 1914. He died on April 3, 1973. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs.

Helen Regan of Middleton, Mrs. Lauro Quiros of San Rafael, Mrs. Robert Donovan of Walnut Creek, and Mrs. E. J.

Hammer of Kohler, two sisters, Mrs. Eva Hill of Amberg, and Mrs. Anna Kennedy of Fresno, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Krause in 1943. Funeral services will be held at the GRUBER FUNERAL HOME, 7432 Elmwood Middleton, at 1 p.m.

Donald N. Letendre, age 62, formerty of 1832 Rowley died on Sunday, September 1, 1974, in a local nursing home, after a long illness. Born on March 30, 1952, at Eau Claire, he was a student at the Wisconsin and at MATC. Mr. Schmitz was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Margaret R. Schroeder, age 91, of Martinsville, died on Saturday, August 31, 1974, at the Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness. Born in Cross PlainsTownship of Berry, October 18, 1882, and lived in that area most of her life, she was the former Margaret Vosem and married John B. Schroeder on June 2, 1908. Mrs.

Schroeder was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Martinsville, and its Christian Mother's Society. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John Koch of Middleton and Mrs. Francis Numaier of Sauk City; eight grandchildren and ten greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, March 21, 1968, and a son, Vincent in 1960. Funeral services will be held at the SCHWAB FUNERAL HOME, Waunakee, at 9:39 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4 and at 10 a.m. at St. Martins's Catholic Church in Martinsville.

Born in Ripon, Wisconsin, on May 16, 1907, she was a Madison resident for the past 47 years. She was employed as a salesiady at Treasure Island until her retirement several years ago. Mrs. Wallace was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include a sister, Mrs.

Esther Marvin of Fond du Lac and a Earl Jacot of Swansville, and many step, nieces and nephews. She was prededed in death by her husband, John, in 1970. Funeral services will be held at the SCHROEDER FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. 1 Washington at p.m. on Tuesday, September 3.

MADISON Mrs. Robert H. Winrich, age 77, formerly of 5000 Buckeye Road, died on Saturday, August 31, 1974, at Tomah, Wisconsin. For the past six months she had been living with her son at Mather, Wis. She was the former Bessie Hegle.

Mrs. Winrich was a member of the Madison Gospel Tabernacle. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Eldon, Mather, Donald 3604 Larson Court, Keith, Des Moines, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Crowell, Zion, a brother, Morris, Archbold, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Burk, Washington, D.C.; and 17 grandchildren.

MINNEAPOLIS-SAUK CITY Peter E. Zins, age 65, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, died on Sunday, September 1, 1974, after an extended Illness. Born of Feb. 27, 1909, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Latins Meet Newark Chief NEWARK, N.J. (UPI) Mayor Kenneth Gibson called a meeting Monday with leaders of the Puerto Rican community 1 in Newark, where an angry crowd Sunday hurled rocks and bottles, burned police cars, and then marched on City Hall.

At least a dozen persons, including two policemen hit by beer bottles and rocks, were injured. Most of them were treated for cuts and bruises and released. Two police cars were burned and others were damaged. At least two persons suffered gunshot wounds. It was not known whether the shots came from police or from civilians.

The disturbance began when police arrested a handful of men for playing dice during a festival at a park in Newark's Spanishspeaking neighborhood. The crowd, angered over the arrests, began throwing rocks and bottles at police. Fighting erupted and spilled into the streets.
