Richard McGeoch, a Morrison vice president, said the typical cafeteria line offers 123 Items and that the average customer check, for a complete meal, la 13.19. McGeoch said Morrison's does not ship In prepared food, but prepares everything "from scratch every day." The mall cafeteria will seat about 27S persons and be open until 8 or 8:30 p.m., Including Sundays and holidays.

"We are definitely going to have to look for another unit in Dayton. We're looking for at least another one," McGeoch said. That way, delivery, supervisory and promotional costs can be shared. Although 100 or so of Morrison's 138 units are in shopping malls, the company has begun to switch to freestanding buildings because of the often high cost of operating in malls, according to McGeoch. Cox owns and operates five VHF television stations, five AM radio stations and seven FM stations. The broadcasting division also includes TeleRep and The Christal national television and radio sales representation firms, and Schulke Radio Productions, a syndicated music business. ATLANTA (AP) Cox Broadcasting which ended unsuccessful merger talks with General Electric Co. last spring, told its stockholders Tuesday that it has no further merger plans. "The merger with GE now is behind us, and we all can look ahead to a bright future," Executive Committee Chairman Garner Anthony told shareholders at the corporation's 16th annual meeting. Cox and GE had been working toward a merger valued between $460 million and $508 million dollars, which would have been the largest in broadcast history. But it was abandoned only three days before the Federal Communications Commission was expected to approve it.

GE said in a statement at that time that Cox demanded too much money. Walther's sales last year were about $230 million. Walther already owns about 30 percent of Citation's stock and a year ago the two companies agreed to merge. A spokesman for Citation said today that in the offer, Walther says it "intends to continue the present business and policies of Citation, but reserves the right to change operations.
