Theater owners are upset, saying the producer is cutting their throats. The producer counters that there is no parallel between the consumer who buys a cassette for $40 and the theatergoer who pays $3. But 20th Century-Fox is forgetting that many theater owners have become unused to competition; consider how often some of them even sweep up the places before charging a family $12 or SIS wade through the trash.
