In Wr bout4f iackjj hlth, about three yin old, and bra 5" polled, and appraifed to 71. branded on the near buttock t) JOSEPH ALlty. NINE hundred nd forty teres of valuable land, lying on both fides of Contrary River, in Looifa, with three plantations thereon, two of winch has fufucicnt houles for overfcers and negroes; the other is improved with all neceflary buildings, and orchards of all, kunds, fit for the reception of gentleman, the notify being; 'finilhed in the beft manner. Thii traA is well timberej and watered, lies within $2 miles of Frederick Iburg, and. At of Page's warehoufe; there are at leaft 400 acres of fow grounds, of the beft foil, joo of which are now to cut.

The three planotions are under good fences, and" in good ofderto work 11 one hands. Robert Jgem jne, John Mafley, and John Lam, are now pooa 'of the plantations, who will (hew the land to any perfon, nnrrriafc. and Maior Thomas Johnfon wilf agree with them for the price. The above traa is efteem ed the moft valuable in Louifa for growing corn, wheat; or tobacco, and fituated in the beft range for ftock of any below the great mountains tf 1 FOR SALE, AND VERY CHEAP. A PLANTATION in good order for cropping, none of the land having been deared above fix years, with all neceflary houfes, quite new, together with 1506 acres of exceeding rich land, the foil of which is fo good that it will bring large tobacco for five or fii years withr out dung.

I have made on this plantation above three thoufand pounds of tobacco per (bare. The place is very healthy, and has a fine range for flock. This land lie! in the lower end of Buckingham county, near to Appo mattox river, on each fide of Great Ducker's and Mayo creeks. Tobacco has been carried above this land near to Petersburg by water, and Iaft month, in the dry weather, two canoe loads of wheat were carried near to Peteriburg, and the canoes brought back; they were loaded but a little below this land. I make no doubt but Appomattox river will be foon cleared, and then the eipence of fending wheat, tobacco, will be trifling.

Any perfon inclinable to purcbafe will fee, by the produce of the land, that it is exceeding rich. I really do not know any better high Jand in the colony. This traft of land is well timbered, and has excellent water on it. I do not know a better place for a merchant mill than is on Pucker's creek. People are going much on railing wheat in thefe parts, and a good mill would be yery advantageous to the owner.

Alfo another tracl of Jand of 826 acres in Albemarle county, I believe about ten miles from the cpurthoufe, joining Mr. James Harris and the quarters of Mr. John Winfton. On this land is a fmall plantation, a good apple orchard, The land is good, and my price folow, that I am convinced any perfon who viewed either of the above trails 0 JacJ would nothefltate to give the price I (hall aflc. Neither of thefe trafis are under any incumbrance wbatfotrer.

A reasonable time of payment will be allowed. tf ANTHONY WINSTON, For A A I KAL I otiana, on cnanes river, iorc county, containing about 600 acres, part of whjch is marfh, that may be drained with very little cxpence. The fitu ation of this place is very convenient for a family, as it lies upon a river that abounds with oyfters and fine fifti, particularly (heepiheads; it is within 200 yards of a mill, and 2 miles of the church. My reafon for felling it is, my having bought a tracl of land more convenient to me. Whoever inclines to purchafe may know the terms by applying to the fubferiber, in York town.

THOMAS NELSON, junior. 0 RENTED. FlOM TSAK. TO YEA FO A TIIM 01 YSAAS, 0 1 THE beautiful feat of the honourable George William Fairfai, efquire, lying upon Potowmack river, ia Fairfax county, about 14 miles below Alexandria. The manfion houfe is of brick, two (lory high, with four convenient rooms and a large paflage upon the lower floor.

five rooms and a paflage on the fecond, and a fervanU hall and cellars below; convenient offices, ftables, and coach houfe, adjoining, as alfo a large and well furniflu ed garden, ftored with great variety of valuable fruits, in good order. Appertaining to the tracl on which thefe improvements are, and which contains near 2000 acres (furrounded, in a manner, hy navigable water) are feveral valuable fifheries, and a good deal of cleared land in different parts, which may be let altogether, or fepa rately, as fhall be found moft convenient. The terms maybe known of Colonel Waftington, who lives near the prdmifes, or of me, in Berkeley county, tf FRANCIS WILLIS, junior. FOR, SAL ABOUT twelve thoufand acres of exceeding rich TOBACCO LAND, in Amherft county, whereon are feveral plantations and improvements fufficient to work forty or fifty hands. There is on this land fgr fale a very valuable GRIST MILL, lately bult, with a none uam ana a pair or gooa LUJ UUWl.

STONES, which mill has two years pah got upwards of 100 barrels of toll corn, and js utuated on a never faisg ftream. The land will be ftewn by Wiiliani Womack, who lives at one of the plantations, and the prices of the land made known by him. One or two years credit will be allcwed, intereft being paid for the lecona year, and alio tor the hr, if the money is not paid agreeable to contrail. The land is to be laid off and furveyed by Colonel William Cabell, at the expence of the purchafer. Deeds will be made, upon bond and approved fecurity being given, either to Call, William Cabell, or thc fubferiber.

Six per cent, difcount will be allowed for ready of good merchants notes. If any perfon would chufe to exchange lands in the lower part of thc country, on or near fome navigable river, that are gotfd, it is more than probable we fliould agree. CARTER BRAXTON..
