Madsen Will Find Tough Going in Omaha Tourney By RILEY HALL When John Madsen unpacks his bowling ball and prepares for a line or two of i Saturday at Omaha's Rose Bowl he may find the competition a little tough. John, who won the south- eaitern area's pro roll-off for a spot hi the $30,500 Professional Bowlers AsSh. Open, will be up against 80 of the nation's top pros. It just might have an effect on his game when he steps to the line against such pros as Bill Allen, Nelson Burton Dick Weber and Billy Welu "The main thing I'm try- ing to guard against getting too nervous," John said "I've been bowling fairly well lately and I just want to do my best in the tournament "I watched these guys bowl while we were in Miami, Fla last winter for the American Bowling Congress Tournament and you can't believe how good they really are. They have the same smooth delivery on each throw and will put the ball right where they want it John rolled 12 games to win the right to compete with the pros and accounted for a total pinfall of LINCOLN, NEB FRIDAY, SEPT.
