Mrs.

Kliefoth lived in Germany during her childhood and her father. Dr. Rudolph Presber, poet, playwright, philosopher, and tutor to the Kaiser's grandchildren, was one of Reinhardt's closest friends. Reinhardt produced several of Dr. Presber's plays, and the two men worked together on the stages of Germany for many years.

Mrs. Kliefoth did not know Reinhardt very well personally, but she can remember being presented to the great producer upon occasions when he would be spending some time at her father's house, and she has followed his career in this country with great interest. A WEEK or so ago a news story about more than a million dollars in forgotten depositis in Wisconsin banks which may be taken by the state if still unclaimed at a certain date was sent all over the country and immediately the First National bank here received a letter from a Miss Or-ville McLane of Calira, Maryland. The headline of the story which Miss McLane had seen said "State May Seize Unclaimed Fortune" and the date line on it was Madison so that she had understood the story to mean that some particular person had left a fortune in a Wisconsin bank and had not come back to claim it. Her letter read: "I am enclosing a clipping from the Baltimore Sun paper.

It made me think of an uncle of mine, unmarried, who went to Wisconsin and was there for several years. He then came home and was here for two or three years, became dissatisfied and went back. We have not heard from him for years. It has been 45 or 50 years since he went back. He had quite a sum of money with him when he went back there.

I thought maybe this fortune could be his. His name was M. McLane. Please let me know. Thought it no harm to write when the uncle had not been heard from for so long.

We have mourned him dead." SO MANY people have telephoned and dropped in to ask if Tuesday's column, which was a letter signed by J. B. were realy written by someone else and if so, by whom, or whether I just wrote it myself that I'd better give credit where credit is due. The column, or letter, which wasnt intended for a column at all but just a letter, was really written by J. B.

Lorenz, professor of neuro-psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin, told the conference that it is how you say it even more than what you say that spells the difference in sex education.

"The child will be more impressed by the attitude of the parents than by anything that is said," Dr. Lorenz said. "Long before father or mother will have summed up courage enough to speak on the subject, you may be sure son or daughter has gotten a liberal amount of misinformation. The child is ready for sex education when he asks for it," Dr. Burling said. "Parents should answer such questions truthfully and in a natural tone and not put the child off with vagaries about the birds and the bees. "The social significance of sex needs to be pointed out.
