You can't get away from certain facts. One of them is that "Wisconsin, relegated to eighth or ninth in the conference on preseason estimates, still is undefeated in the league and riding in second place with two wins and a tie. Another is that Iowa, rated a Big Nine dark horse at the start of the season, is now out of the championship race with one win, two defeats and a tie. And still another is that Dr. Eddie Anderson of Iowa has defeated Wisconsin in four of the five years he has coached the Hawkeyes.

There has been talk of trouble on the Iowa squad this week, touched off by the seriocomic departure and return of Halfback Emlen Ttmnell.
