TO BE SOLD, it public Sale, at the Houfe of the Subfcribers, on the Wefitrn Branch, in Netnfemond County, Virginia, on Monday the firft Day of September next, all their Houfehold and Kitchen Furniture, moil of whkh arc alraoft new, and of the very beft Quality, three Negroes, and a valuable Collection of Books, with a Quantity of Coffee and AUfpice. Twelve Months Credit will be allowed, and Bond, with approved Security, will be required. At the fame Time will be rented asaboye, the Houfes arid other Improvements, lately occupied by them, for one, two, or three Years, as will be moft agreeable to the Per ion wanting them. As we intend foon to leave the Continent, we deiire all Perfons who have Claims againft us in Virginia, to bring them in and receive Payment from Mr. Macdowall, or Mr.

John Halbert in Nanfemond, with whom thpfe indebted to us are requefted to make Settlements, and grant Bond, or other Specialties, for their Balances. Any Claims that may be againft us in North Carolina will be anfwered by applying to Mr. Archibald Hamilton in Halifax Mr. John Hamilton at Neivbern, and Mr. James Martin in Wake County, to whom it is hoped thofe having Claims will make Application for Payment as foon as poflible; it is alfo requefted that all Perfons indebted to them in that State will apply as and grant Bonds for their refpective Balances before their Departure.

TO BE SOLD, and entered on immediatelya valuable Houfe on the Market Square in this City, with 4 handfome Rooms below neatly papered, and a Fire Place in each, with 3 Clofets, and 6 Rooms above, with dry Cellars under the Whole, a good Kitchen and Laundry, with Wet3 Houfes. with a Flower and Kitchen Garden, well paled in; alfo afmall Houfe adjoining, with a Rooms and Fire Places, a good Cellar, and Yard," the Whole in good Repair. With the above Houfes may be had, all or any Part of the following valuable Furniture, i'iz. Mahogany Dining Tables, Pcmbrook, Card, Toilet, and other Tables, large and fmall handfome Looking Glaffes, an eight Day Clock, Mahogany Chairs, with Brocade, and Furniture Bottoms, green Paflage Chairs, Carpets, ajid Carpeting, a large Mahogany Plate Cafe, with Glafs Doors, a Mahogany Bureaus on Brai's Caftors, a Tea Urn with a Mahogany Stand, Beds, Bedfteads, and Curtains, Tea, and Table China, Bowls, and ornamental japanned, Glafs, and Queen's Ware, a Brafs Grate, a Bath Stove, Handirons, Brafs and Wire Tenders, a good Jack, and a Quantity of Kitchen Furniture, alfo a large imported Flour Mill, with a Variety of other Articles too tedious to mention.

The Terms may be known by applying to the Subscriber, on the Premifes, who intends leaving this State in a fhort Time, and requefts thofe who have any Claims againft him immediately to apply for Payment, and all who are indebted to him, either by Bond or Account, will be fo good todif charge their feveral Balances as foon as JOHN BAKER. 12 10, 1777.
