Obviously disturbed but equally bright in expressing her hostility, she successfully evades Paul's questions about her runaway state and the point of her destination. Tune in for Kim Darby's performance as the teenage girl, and the picture of loneliness behind her arrogance that dramatizes her need for help.

(Color) 10:00 Ch. 2 The Big Valley. "Last Stage to Salt Flats." This series gets around to the inevitable western stagecoach tale in which regulars are thrown together with a variety of guest travelers. Actually, it's a fairly good entry involving a stage robbery on a desert trail, after which the Barkleys and their fellow passengers are left to perish. Very good western yarn about a handful of cutthroats who aim their deadly sights on Ben Calhoun (Dale Robertson). Calhoun arrives in a seemingly played-out goldmining town to secure more rights-of-way for his railroad, only to encounter the tightlipped hostility of a band of men intent on keeping a secret operation from becoming public.

(Color) 8:30 ('hs. 7, 9 The Lucy Show. A silly episode makes use of an old gag, but it still garners laughs tonight. Secretary Lucy believes she's having hallucinations after seeing a chimp seated behind banker Mooney's desk. The monkey situation builds to a climax in a psychiatrist's office and gives Lucy's eyes full opportunity to pop.

The monkey's role by Janos Prohaska is also worth a big banana. (Color) 8:30 hs. 2, 12 The Hat Patrol. "The Lighthouse Raid." Tense and suspenseful throughout. Although you learn from the start that Rat Fatroller Sgt.

Troy is at the mercy of an Allied turncoat, the lure of the show is the danger of its lighthouse setting and the characters of the traitor and his wife. A lighthouse keeper decides lie can get rich by doing business with the Germans instead of Troy, only he fails to reckon with the morality of his wife and the fearless conviction of the Rat Patrol.
