He was feen in Hampton the Tutjday following, and imagine he is making towards Peterburg, as be formerly lived there, and had a Wife at Colonel Robert Bolfag't. He may probably have a Pafs and endeavour to pafs for a Freeman, as he is very good Workman.

(tf) GREENWOOD, RITSON, MARSH. A valuable Sale 0 LAND S. TO be fold, a TRACT of LAND in Berkeley and Frederick Counties, containing 12,076 Acres it lies feven Miles on each Side of nando River, the Quantity on the eaft Side, being only a Slip of. low round, is inconfiderable the Quality of the Land it remarkably ood, and the Conveniences attending it great. There are two plentiful Streams of Water running through Marfhes three Miles in Length, fome of which are already reclaimed Meadows, and the reft, at a very fmall Expenfe, might foon be reduced to the like State.

On each Side of the i Streams Mills m'uht be erefted and Furnaces, the Land affording Stone, Lime, Iron, and Lead Ore. As this Traft is Part of a Survey one of the fir A in that Part of the Colony, its good Quality cannot be queftioned, it is well watered, will admit of two Mills on Land Streams, and others on the River; there are now on it fix Plantations well improved for Cropping, no Slaves, and very large and choice Stocks of Horfcs (fome of the Dray Breed) black Cattle, Hogs, and Sheep; which, with the Crops of Corn and Wheat now growing (expected to be upwards of aooo Ran els and 5000 Bufhels) will be fold on the Premifes, on the 24th Day of November next, or next fair Day.

The Loudoun Lands will he fold at Ordinary, on the atft Day of the fame Month. Both Trails will be laid off in Lots to fuit every Kind of Purchafer, who may fee them by applying to Mr. Franeit Peyton, near the Leudcun Land, and Mr. William Dawon, who refides cn the Sherando Tract. Among the Slaves are two good Blackfmiths, two Carpenters, and an excteding trufty and fkilful Waggoner.

The aged black Cattle, and grown Hogs, will be fattened for Slaughter. purchafers above 25 1, will be allowed twelve Months Credit, on giving Bond and Security to the Subfcribers, who will be prepared to make Conveyances. There is on the faid Land for Sale a very valuable GRIST MILL, lately built, with a Stone Dam and a Pair of good Cologne Millflones, which Mill has for two Years pall got upwards of 100 Barrels of Toll Corn, and is fituated on a never fai.ing Stream. The Land will be fhown by William Wemak, who lives at one of the the Plantations, and the Prices of the Land made known by him. One or two Years Credit will be allowed, Intereft being paid for ihe fecond Year, and alio for the firft, if the Money is rot paid agreeable to Contract.

The Land is to be laid off and futveyed by Colonel William Cabell, at the Expenfe of the Purchafer. Deeds will be made upon Bond and approved Secuiity being given, either to Colonel William Cabell, or the Subfcriber. Six per Cent. Difcount will be allowed for ready Money, or good Merchants Notes. If any Perfon will choofs to exchange Lands' in the lowrr Part of the Country, on or rear fome navigable River, that ara good, it is more than probatle we aeree.
