Winter Brides and Brides-To-Be MR. AND MRS. GLENN HAROLD STENSAAS of Norway, Kan. They were married January 3 in Immanuel Lutnsran- Church in Bremen, Kan. Mrs.

Stensaas is the former Joyce Irene Prell of Bremen Kan. (Eclington Studio) Joyce Irene Prell is wed to G. Harold Stenssas in Bremen Miss Joyce Irene Prell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond L.

Prell of Bremen, Kansas, became the bride of Glenn Harold Stensaas of Norway, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Stensaas, Norway, January 3, in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bremen, Kan.

The Rev. Richard E. Hasz, read vows of the double ring ceremony. A basket of white and aqua mums were on each side of the altar and white candles were in four-holder candelabra on steps to the altar. A spray of lilies-of-the-valley, tied with white ribbon marked the pews.

Mrs. John Fischer of Bremen, played the traditional wedding marches for the processional and recessional. She also accompanied Dr. James Smart of Fredonia, who sang "Wedding Prayer," and "The Lord's Prayer." The Bride The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of imported French Chantilly lace. A wing collar outlined with seed pearls and embroidered with iridescent sequins fashioned the neckline of the smoothly moulded bodice which featured long sleeves tapered to bridal points over the hands.

Her fingertip length veil of silk illusion was held in place with a crown fashioned of seed pearls and sequins. She wore a single strand of pearls, a gift of the groom and carried a white Bible topped with an arrangement of happiness roses with trailing white streamers interrupted with small sprays of lil- ics-of-thc-valley. Schroeder of Hoi- brook, was matron of honor. She wore a street length dress of aqua blue taffeta fashioned with a fitted sleeveless bodice featuring a scoop neckline adorned with matching lace medallions. She wore a small brown fur clip with brown veiling on her head and her jewelry was a small gold cross. The bridal bouquet was of pink tipped mums. Miss Diane Prell.

Miss Prell wore gown and accessories identical to that of the matron of honor with the excep- tion of her flowers, a wrist corsage of pink tipped white mums. Lawrence Stensaas of Oakland, was his brother's best man. Mrs.

Prell, mother of the bride chose a blue lace dress with black accessories and f.b.3 mother of the groom wore a black and white suit dress with black accessories. Their identical corsages were of white mums. Reception- After the ceremony the brides parents were hosts at a reception attended by 70 guests in the Immanuel Lutheran parish hall. Mrs. W.

P. Stohs, Bremen, aunt of the bride, baked and served the wedding cake, and Mrs. John Graham, Norway, sister of the groom, served the groom's cake, Mrs. Lee Loring, Scandia, sister of the groom, served the punch and Mrs. C.

F. Prell, Bremen, aunt of the bride was at the coffee service. Mrs. Elmer Scheele, Beatrice, aunt of the bride, served the ice cream. Mrs.

H. V. Prell, Bremen, registered the guests and Mrs. Louis E. Prell, Bremen, presided at the gift table.

For traveling on their wedding trip to the southern states the bride wore a beige Italian jer- sy suit dress with brown accessories. The bride was graduated from Marymount School of Nursing in 1958 and previously attended Hanover High School. She is employed as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Concordia. Mr.

Stensaas is a graduate of the Scandia High School and is engaged in farming. On their return Mr. and Mrs. Stensaas will live at Concordia. Snow A Plenty Dr.

Mrs. Charles Mann entertained at a foursome Wednesday. Mrs. Elmer Gottula was hostess to a Woman's Club bridge foursome for a dessert luncheon Friday. Mrs.

Walt Coon entertained a group Tuesday evening in honor of Mr. Coon's birthday. Mrs. Arvid Eyth was luncheon hostess to a group Tuesday in Mrs. Ruth Gordon, Chatham Ontario, Canada, guests of her sister, Mrs.

T. E. Adams. Mrs. George Miller was hostess to the Wednesday night bridge club.

Benefit Card Party to be Jan.20 The Chairmen of the committees of the Women's Council Benefit Card Party met at noon Wednesday, January 20, to complete the details for the Card Party to be held Monday evening, January 25 in the Senior High School Cafeteria. The card party is sponsored annually by the Women's Council of the Beatrice Chamber of Commerce and profits from the event are used to help make the Ladies Lounge located at 119 South 5th Street more convenient to the shopping public. In the past the Women's Council has done much to improve the facilities of the Lounge. The profits of this years party will again go towards further improvements.

The groom graduated from Alexandria High School and is engaged in farming. For a wedding trip the bride chose a dress of turquois imported rayon dress with pearl accessories. They will be at home in Alixan- dria.
