Royal Carribean Cruise Line offers new magazine Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has created a new magazine -style brochure that depicts the line's 7- to 14-day Caribbean cruises and seven-day Bermuda cruises. One of the brochure's most unique features is a guided tour of Royal Caribbean's newest member of the fleet, Sovereign of the Seas, which is scheduled to makes its maiden voyage on Jan. 16, 1988. The 79 -page brochure also has a wraparound cover with an overhead view of Song of America, and a gatefold cruise planning1 guide for each ship. Included in the cruise planning guides are details of stateroom categories and fares, deck plans, itineraries, sailing dates and Royal Caribbean's new Up-Front advance purchase discount plan, which provides a discount of up to 20 off the published tariff to passengers who book 180 days in advance on selected sailing dates. In addition, the brochure introduces itinerary changes for Song of Norway and Song of America, scheduled for January 1988, in anticipation of the arrival of Sovereign of the Seas. The Song of Norway will be gin weekly service on Jan. 17, 1988, departing from San Juan on Sundays with calls at St. Maarten, Antigua, Martinque, Barbados and St. Thomas. Effective Jan. 10, 1988, Song of America will be repositioned to the Western Caribbean, offering seven-day cruises with Sunday departures from Miami to Cozu-mel, Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios and Labadee, the Caribbean's newest and Royal Caribbean's exclusive preserve located on Haiti's secluded north coast. Copies of the new brochure are available at travel agencies. Polynesian Dancers at L.A. Convention Center March 13-15 Nonosina's Polynesian Productions, headed by Estella Reid, will dance to the rhythms of Polynesian music at the ninth annual Travel Show. The entertainers are sponsored by The Tahiti Travel Bureau, an exhibitor at the show. Performances will be on the main stage at 7 p.m. Friday, at 12:30 p.m. Saturday and at 2:15 p.m. Sunday. Comprised of authentic Polynesians, the dance group entertains and enlightens audiences about the island culture and way of life. There are several vacation spots on the various islands, including Bora Bora. One of the little-known treasures is the is land of Moorea, voted "The most beautiful place on Earth," by the Travelers Century Club, an exclusive travel group that requires its members to have visited at least 100 countries. Moorea, which has lush green valleys and lagoons teeming with brightly colored fish, was featured in the movie "South Pacific."
