Cleveland of 15 Crystal East Stroudsburg announced completion of plumbing, heating and air-conditioning for the new 120 unit Holiday Inn In East Stroudsburg off Interstate Route 80, near Marshalls Creek. The entire job took only 6 months to complete. It was one of the largest operations ever to be handled by the East Stroudsburg Corporation. 122 baths were installed in the rental units, as well as numerous other employes lavatories. Famous Crane bathroom fixtures were used throughout the establishment.

The Holiday Inn will sport one of the most unique heating cooling operations in the East, and probably one of the newest in Monroe County. The Air-conditioning and heating system which can be individually controlled in each unit and used for heat or cooling all year "round are unique (most systems operate on air-conditioning for summer heat for winter). In addition the units are driven by gasoline operated engines and natural gas. The entire construction job cost $200,000 for Heating, Air-conditioning and Plumbing. The huge Holiday Inn is now open to the general public and is one of the major contributing assets to the Poconos this year.

It contains 120 rental units with most modern accommodations offered including a heated swimming pool, a large cocktail lounge, and several large rooms for parties and banquets. Apple parking is provided all around the 2-story structure which takes up a city block.
