Bowser, 77, 1421 Fourth Avenue, Ford City, died 1:10 p.m. Monday (Sept, 1965) in Armstrong Counly Memorial Hospital, Kit tanning. Born Jan, 23, 1888, in Kittanning, she was a daughter of tlic Inte J. Henry and Elizabeth Binden Frlschkoru. She had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ford City and the Women's Benefit Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred H. Bowser, in 1955. Surviving are three sons, Glenn Bowser of Mosgrove; .1, Henry Bowser and Clair Bowser, both of Ford City; one sister, J. Frances Krlschkorn "of Killanning; six grandchildren grandchildren. and five great BOWSER--Friends of Mrs.

Smith James E. Smith, 65, of Serru'n- ole, died Saturday (Sept. 4, 1965) in Brookville Hospital. He was born Aug. 24, 1900 in Malioning Township, Armstrong County, a son of William Smith and Matilda Willison Smith, and was married May 17, 1923 to the former Twila Shumaker, who survives.

Mr. Smith also leaves one son, Edwin S. Smith of Fairmount City RD one daughter, Mrs. Lester (Arlene) Brocious of Meadvilic RD five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and five brothers, Arthur G. Smith of Kittanning RD -Frank of Tarentum, Holmes of Kitlanning RD 2, Leon of Meadowland and Carl Smith of New Bethlehem RD 4.

A son, Kenneth Smi'th, was killed in Kllsworth Printer Barrett Ellsworth Printer Barrett, 96 102 Hamilton South Beth- lebom, died Monday Sept. 6, 1905) in Brookvllle Hospital. He had been In poor health for the past several months. Mr. Barrett, the widower of Olive L.

Slmmakor Ban'ctl, who died Jan. 1, 1955, was born Aug. 17, 1869, at New Bethlehem RD 4, Armstrong County, and had lived all his life in the area. A son of Daniel G. and Ema- lino Duncan Barrett, ho was a miner by occupation, having worked i'or the Bostonia Coal Co.

He was a member of United Mine Workers of America (UMW), Local 6439. Mr. Barrett leaves one daughter, Mrs. Alice Sterner of South Bethlehem, three grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one brother, Ross T. Barrett of Kellersbm'g.

A son, Daniel Gaylard Barrett, preceded him in death in 193G. William Shields McMllien William Shields (W. Mo Mlllen, 81, of Home IID 1, died Monday evening (Sept. 6, 1965) at his home of complications a lingering illness. Shields was a prominent resident of the S.

Muhoning Twp. area having been a lifelong resident. Ho had served as president of the Ox Hill Community Kair Association since its in i335. In addition he had served as school director for 25 years. A farmer by occupation, he luic been an elder in the Plumville Presbyterian Church and wa: a member of the Plumville Lions Club.

Born May 25, 1884, in S. Mahoning Indiana County, he was a son of the late William and Amanda Walker McMillen. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nannie Wingrovc McMillen; one daughter, Mrs. David 19--Leader-Times Kittanning, Pa.

Bessie Kuhns Bessie Kuhns, 85, Eagle Rock died Sunday morning (Sept. 5) ii her home. Mrs. Kuhns was borr Sept. 5, 1880 at Bruin, a daughter of James and Elizabeth (Simpson! Kahle.

Mrs. Kuhns, who is survived by her husband, Charles C. Kuhns three nephews and a niece, was a niece of Leader-Times foundci John B. Simpson. She i member of First Prcsbyteriai Church, Oil City.
