SUN PRAIRIE Christina D. Clymer, age 45, died on Sunday, January 25, 1998, in a Madison hospital. She was born in Grafton, Wisconsin, on July 24, 1952. She is survived by her husband, Steven; and four children. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, from 5:00 p.m.

Cougill, age 94, died peacefully at the Skaalen Home on Sunday, January 25, 1998. He was born on October 5, 1903 in Greene County, Ohio, the second son of the late Charles and Tabitha (Bullock) Cougill. He graduated in 1922, from the Anderson, Indiana High School, and he furthered his education at the Garritt Evangelical Biblical Institute in Chicago, graduating in 1926. Herman later attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, finishing his studies in 1928. On May 6, 1930, he married the former June L.

Parish of Stoughton, at the Stoughton United Methodist Church. Herman was employed by the Western Union Telegraph Company in Chicago, serving as Personnel Director, retiring after 38 years of service in 1967. He and his wife moved to Stoughton i in 1979, where they were members of the United Methodist Church. He was active in the life of the church for over 80 years. Herman's favorite hobbies were painting, chair caning, and collecting stamps, coins and postcards.

Herman is survived by two sisters-in-law, Ruth Paulson of Stoughton, and Maellyn (Arthur) Amundson of Viroqua; six nephews and nieces, including Kim and Mary Hanson of Stoughton. He was preceded in death by his wife, June on January 23, 1995; his only son, Lt. Robert P. Cougill, a pilot in the United States Air Force; a inBeulah Watson; a niece, Kay Sickler; and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.

He was born on October 21, 1919 in Richland Center and been a longtime Madison resident. He served in the United Army 1937 until 1942. He was a member of Madison Baptist Church, a past member and Commander of VFW Post 7591, Dane County VFW Council Commander 1989 from Council Commander 1989 Wisconsin State pital in Madison. She was born on December 19, 1921 in Adams County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Claude and Winifred (Dunham) Higbee. Lila moved to the Edgerton area in 1939 coming from Dane County.

She married Sterling Marsden on November 3, 1940 at the family farm in Edgerton. Lila was a member of the Albion Prairie Primative Methodist Church, the Friendly Builders, and Ladies Aid. She also belonged to the Sumner Workers, as a 4-H leader for 31 years, the Lotus Club and the Busseyville Homemakers. survived by her husband, Sterling of Edgerton; a daughter, Joy (Graydon Watts) Risse of Edina, Minnesota; six sons, Jerry Marsden of Waukesha, Dale (JoAnn Sornson) Marsden of McFarland, Daniel (Margie) Marsden of Janesville, Keith Marsden of Fort Atkinson, Kent (Rhonda) Marsden of Milton, and Tim (girlfriend, Mary) of Edgerton; 16 grandchildren; three brothers, Lloyd. The former Bernice Catherine Smith was born November 27, 1905 in Blanchardville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Kelly) Smith. She was married to j. Bernard McGowan on November 17, 1925 in Darlington. He died on January 28, 1990. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Darlington, of its' Council of Catholic Women.

Survivors are her children, Marion (Charles) Thomas, Rita (Robert) Martin, Janet (Gaylord) Mosley, Kay (Thomas all Darlington, Imelda' (Peter)' Olson, California, Francis (Jeanne) McGowan, Rockford, Illinois and William (Sandy) McGowan of Darlington; 30 grandchildren; 64 greatgrandchildren; seven great-greatgrandchildren; a sister, Agnes Smith of Rockford, Illinois; and a daughter-in-law, Verlene McGowan, Darlington. Schneider, Milo Eugene Milo Eugene Schneider, age 86, died from a long illness on Saturday, January 24, 1998, at Skaalen Sunset Home in Stoughton. He was born in the Township of Dunn, Oregon, Wisconsin, on February 15, Milo was married to Harriet Ellis on February 1, 1934, in Oregon, Illinois. Milo was born, raised and lived on his home farm his entire life. He was a farmer, fisherman, hunter and trapper. He served as Dunn Township Supervisor for six years.

Milo was also a director for the Cottage Grove, Oregon Insurance Company for 10 years. He was on the Oregon School Board for 11 years. The former Adeline Kniebuehler was born on March 26, 1919 in Waunakee and has been a lifelong area resident.

She, worked at Oscar Mayer production for over 35 years. She was a long time member of the St. Peter Church. He was united in marriage Eleanor Gitlar. Claire was a Corporal in the United States Marines and served in the Finance Department at Camp Le Jeune in North Carolina.

He was employed as locksmith for A-1 Locksmith Company in Greendale, Wisconsin and for the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; a son, C. Curt (Chari) Griggs of Reedsburg; daughter, Bonita F. Griggs of Madison; two step-sons, David (Carol) Whitman of Cedar Creek, and Kent Whitman of Milwaukee; three sisters, Elva (Emil) Prise and Bev Drew, both of Tomah, and Carol (Arlan) Roeske of Sparta; and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lyle and Harold Griggs; and a sister, Ruth Griggs.

She was daughter of Michael and Louisa (Zweifel) Jaggi. Hulda married Raymond Hefty on November 24, and they farmed in the New Glarus area until moving to Belleville in 1947. Her husband, Kristin L. Gundlach, age 30, of Jackson, Tennessee, died Saturday evening, January 24, 1998, from the results of an automobile accident that city. Ms.

Gundlach was born in Milwaukee on December 1, 1967, the daughter of James A. and Rita (Jorstad) Gundlach. She was a 1986 graduate of Denison High School, Denison, Texas; a 1990 graduate of the University of Texas in Austin; and she was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Jackson. She was an Operations Manager with Proctor and Gamble Manufacturing in Jackson. Prior to moving to Jackson, she was with Proctor and Gamble at Sherman, Texas, from August of 1990 until October of 1997.

Survivors include her mother and father, James and Rita Gundlach of Denison; a sister and brother, Jacqueline Gundlach of Grapevine, Texas, and Scott (Steffany) Gundiach, of Spokane, Washington; her maternal grandmother, Mary Jorstad of Middleton. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arne Jorstad, and Martin and Lois Gundlach. She united in marriage to Harold Hill on March 5, 1974 and they resided in Florida and Michigan until moving to Mound. Horeb. Mr. Hill died in 1986. especially enjoyed her trips to Switzerland visiting her brother, his family, and playing cards.

She was very devoted to her family. Hulda is survived by four daughters, Dolores (Palmer) Gehin of Belleville, Shirley (Jack) Williams of of of Fritch, Texas, Jeanette (Don) Curry of Ferryville, and Sharon (Neal) Keyser of McFarland; a son, Richard (Mary) Hefty of Madison; and four stepchildren, Kakie (Sy) Reynolds, Betty Ann Cole, Becky (DeWayne) Ruttan, and Harold Hill, all of Michigan. She is further survived by four grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; a number of stepgrandchildren; and a special friend, Henry Hanneman of Mount Horeb. Lajoie, age 47, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 1998, at home. He born on February 9 1950 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. He served as a firefighter for the Air Force during the Viet Nam War. He married Linda Cragin October 7, 1972 in Superior, Wisconsin. He has been a Madison resident for the past five years.

The former Margaret May Tormey was born on May 9, 1914 in Richland County to John and Fannie (Standish) Tormey. She married Russell W. Leonard on August 11, 1941 in Richland Center and he preceded her in death on last Wednesday, January 21, 1998. Margaret graduated from Platteville State Teachers College where she earned a degree in Primary Education. She taught school until her marriage to Russ.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Windsor. Survivors include three sons, Richard (Connie) of Poynette, Harry (Sharon) of Pardeeville, and Kenneth (Sue) of Madison; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother-inlaw and sister-in-law, James and Joanne Leonard of Waunakee; sisters-in-law, Darlene Tormey of Richland Center, and Ruth Gunesch of Littleton, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews. Marsden, age 76, of W9593 State Road 106 in Edgerton, died on Saturday, January 24, 1998 at the University Hos- Agriculture Office as a field agent for 35 years and then in the office in Madison for 11 more years. He was also on the Presbyterian Church Board session for six years. Milo survived by his wife, Harriet; hiss daughter, Suzanne, and son-in-law (best friend) John Severson; two brothers, Lloyd (Daphne) and Stanley (Eileen) Schneider; four nephews; and five nieces. was preceded in death by his son, Eugene; his parents, Harold, Frieda his sister, (Schumann) Schneider; and Vivian (Schneider) Quam.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 1998, FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 172 N. Main Oregon. Reverend Clara Thompson will officiate. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m.

Dugan, James TEXAS James I. Dugan, age 76, died on Tuesday, December 30, 1997. He was born on June 22, 1921 in Madison, the son of Irvin Bessie Dugan. He grew up on Madison's Eastside, and was a student at East High School. He was a veteran of World War II.

On April 15, 1950 he married Charlotte H. Berg of Ridgeway, who preceded him in death in 1985. Jim is survived by his two daughters; a son; five grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Kieras; and a brother, Eugene (Dorothy) Dugan, McFarland. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson; and two brothers, Robert and Morry. Funeral services were held on January 2, 1998 in Pearland, Texas.

Dyer, Ernest W. "Pat" MADISON Ernest W. "Pat" Dyer, age 84, died on Sunday, January 25, 1998 at Karmenta Nursing Home. He was born on March 17, 1913, one of eleven children of Albert and Charlotte (Smith) Dyer, in Boscobel. Pat married Olivette Boak on December 2, 1931 in Richland Center, Wisconsin.

He retired from Ohio Medical Company in 1978, and operated gas stations over the years and was a master auto mechanic. Pat was a longtime member of the Bashford United Methodist Church. He was a former member of the Hiram Lodge Eagle's Club Post Moose Lodge and the N.R.A. Pat enjoyed fishing, hunting, and made many successful trips to Wyoming and Canada. His proudest trip being, from Canada.

He is survived by his bringing home his prize, moose wife years, Olivette; a son, Doyle of Madison; two daughters, Ms. Lenny J. Dyer of Middleton, and Mrs. Linda (Ralph) Jensen of McFarland; nine grandchildren, Diane (Barney) Smith, Eldene (Bill) Hansen, Patricia Kennedy, Robbie (Tony) Recker, Lori Dyer, Cindi Perry, Kim (Dale) Richmond, Patrick Jensen and Kristi Jensen; 16 great-grandchildren; four greatgreat-grandchildren; and three sisters, Madis, Ruth (John) Filbach, and Susie Ward. He was preceded in death by his parents; a beloved son-in-law, Eldon "Al" Blumer in 1953; a beloved daughter, Delores (Blumer) Roberts in 1992; four infant daughters, Marion Rose, Kay Marie, Loretta Jean, and Sarah Jane; four brothers, Delos, Albert, Marion, and Mike; and three sisters, Lizzie, Bessie, and Marie.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 1998 at 12:00 noon at the GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, with Reverend Logan Holder presiding. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Pat was devoted to his faith, his family, his friends and will be dearly missed by all.

was born on May 12, 1916, in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Burt. and Geneva (Hoskins) Beecher. Etta was a 63 year resident of Madison. She was married to Elvin Schwersinske who preceded her in death in 1972. Etta was the owner and operator of Al's Modern Sewer Service, which was previously owned by her first husband, Richard L.

Kerns. She was member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She is survived by eight children, Brandford (Vivian) Kerns of Fitchburg, Jeannette Lewison Madison, Neva Prey of Madison, Bonnie Rodenschmit of Madison, Virginia (John) VanderLeest of Green Bay, MaryAnn (Bill) Graves of Caledonia, Tony Schwersinske of Madison, and Tom Schwersinske Madison; a brother, Doug (Isabelle) Beecher of Madison; a sister, Idolla Schwersinske of San Antonio. Texas; 24 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; two brothers, Henry and Carlyle; three sisters, Martha, Sue Willimena; a Kerns; a son, Alvin Schwersinske; and a granddaughter, Tammy VanderLeest.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 28. 1998, at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1021 Spaight at 1:00 p.m., with Reverend David Susan presiding. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 1998, GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, and at 12:00 noon until the time of the service on Wednesday.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Singer, Majorie LOUIS, MISSOURI Majorie Lee Singer, age 89, died on Sunday, January 25, 1998, at Meriter Health Center. She was born on September 26, 1908 in St. Louis. Missouri, a daughter of Thomas and Geneva (Folk) Lee.

Survivors include a son, Glen (Nelia Olivencia) Singer of Cottage Grove: a granddaughter, Marina of Madison; a daughter-in-law, Suzanne Singer of St. Louis, Missouri; three nieces, Betty (William) Vorgsteadt of Houston, Texas, Virginia (Mel) Gessner of Houston, Texas and Gertrude (James) Frein of East Northport, New York and a nephew Walter (Carolyn), She Messner of New preceded York, in death by her husband, Peter and a son, Curtis. A memorial service will be held in St. Louis, Missouri at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.

He is survived by four children, Arleen Rick, Lorna Volz, and Larry (Arlene) Volz, all of Baraboo, and Roy (Janet) Volz of Wisconsin Dells; eight grandchildren; 12 four great-great; grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
