Walker Funeral Home, Carrollton. GURWITCH Mrs. Rebecca Ripps Gurwitch, 79, passed away March 17, 1992. She was a member of Congregation Ahavath Achim of Atlanta, Ga. She was affiliated with several organizations including National Council of Jewish Women, Brandis University, Hadassah, Business and Professional Women and the Standard Club of Atlanta, Ga.

She lived in Mobile, Ala. for many years and moved to Atlanta with her late husband Isaac Gurwitch. She is survived by her loving children, son Harry Gurwitch and. his wife Shirley; son Burt and his wife Mary Jane Gurwitch, and daughter Phyllis and her husband Herbert Wizig, and grandchildren, Lisa Gurwitch and husband Martin Fleisher, Anna Bella Gurwitch, Michael and Mindy Gurwitch, Michelle Friedenberg, Scott and Renee Wizig, and great-grandsons Max Isaac and Brian Jacob Fleisher, and brother Irving Ripps. She was preceased in death by her husband, Ike Gurwitch and brothers, Sam, Hyman Max Ripps and sister Freda Buchman.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 20, 1992 at 2:30 p.m. at Congregation Ahavas Chesed Cemetery in Mobile, Ala. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Green Lawn Funeral Directors, 1270 Spring N.W. HALLIGAN Mr.

Anthony Joseph Halligan, age 59 of Decatur, died March 18, 1992. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Patricia W. Halligan of Decatur; son, Mr. Anthony Joseph Halligan, Ill of Atlanta; two daughters, Mrs.

Maureen Ryan of Savannah, Ms. Therese Halligan of Decatur; two brothers, Mr. John Halligan of Atlanta, Mr. George Halligan of Orlando; aunts, Mrs. Katherine Halligan, Mrs.

Agnes Halligan both of Savannah; one grandson, Christopher Ryan. Mr. Halligan was the owner and operator for the past 15 years of Halligan and Associates, a CPA firm. He was a member of the Hibernian Society and the Knights of Columbus. He is also a member of the Georgia Society of CPA's.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. with a rosary held at 7:30 p.m. Those desiring may send memorial contributions to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Mr.

Halligan will be taken to Savannah for rosary services on Friday evening. The funeral service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Saturday. Interment will be at Bona Venture Cemetery in Savannah. A.S. Turner Sons, Decatur.

HODGES James Gregory "Greg" Hodges, age 33, of Dacula, died March 17, 1992. Funeral services will be Thursday 2:00 p.m. from the Duluth First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Harvey West and Gery Davis officiating, burial will be Friday in Eastview Memorial Gardens, Knoxville, Tenn. Mr.

Hodges was a native of Knoxville, Tenn. He was a member of the Duluth First United Methodist Church. He was a program manager for Engraph, Inc. Food Packaging Co. Survivors include wife, Nona Gonter hodges, Dacula; son, James Ryan Hodges Dacula; daughter, Amanda Erin Hodges, Dacula; parents, Jim and Betty Hodges, Knoxville; sisters, Lisa Byran, Kristi Hodges, Luri Savage, all of Knoxville.

Cox 523-5646. HOLLAND Southey W. (Sass) Holland, 51 former owner of S.W. Holland Company, publisher and distributor of Technical Book, died March 18, 1992 at Piedmont Hospital following a stroke. He is a graduate of Ferrum College, a charter member of the Northampton Jaycees and a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Eastville, Va.

He is the son of the late Clarence Whitaker Holland Jr. and Elisabeth Moore Holland. He is survived by two brothers, Clarence W. Holland Ill and John Moore Holland, both of Richmond, several nieces and nephews. Interment services will be held March 21 at 2 o'clock at Christ Episcopal Church in Eastville, Va.
