FAYETTE COUNTY DA seeks death penalty in slaying of Jamaican Fayette County District Attorney Bill McBroom announced Monday that he'll seek the death penalty against Karl Bryan Hodge, 33. Hodge, a native of the Virgin Islands who lived in Clayton County, is accused of killing Ado-lph Stubbs, a Jamaican who lived in New York City. Authorities say Hodge shot Stubbs to death March 30 when a drug deal went bad, put his body inside a sport-utility vehicle and set the vehicle on fire in north Fayette County. Glen Simon Hamilton, 33, a native of Jamaica who lived in Clayton County, also has been charged with murder in the case.
