MRS. EARNS Married in Lansing Nancy Ann VanLuven became the bride of Philip Lapp Harns in an evening ceremony Saturday in the Calvary-: Assembly of God Church. Tne.Rev. Otto Wegner the Rev. Carl Graves officiated.

The bride is the daughter of and Mrs. Alviri J. VanLuveni former Sault Ste. Marie residents. Parents of the bridegroom: are Mr.

and Mrs. James Harns. The bride's gown was of white silk organza. Venise lace edged the scoop neck," empire waist, bell skirt," sleeves and the illusion veil which fell to chapel length from a camelot cap. She carried -ia cascade of- feathered carnations with a cluster lavender and yellow sweetheart roses and mint green Mrs.

James Denton of. Sault Ste. Marie, sister of the bride, vas.matron of Wayne sister of the and Mrs. Michael Esch were bridesmaids. Junior bridesmaids were three nieces of tfie bride, Cheryl.

Beverly and Donna VanLuven. all of Cherry Hillj. N.J. The attendants' floor length gowns were ribbon lace over satin with scoop necklines and flowing long sleeves. Their headpieces were a flower with veiling.

The matron of honor and bridesmaids wore.lavender and the junior bridesmaids mint green. Their, flowers were nosegays of feathered carnations in colors matching their gowns. The gowns of the flower girls, Karen Bowerman, cousin of the bride and Candace Wegner were yellow, and they carried baskets of yellow carnations. Best man was James Harns, brother of the bridegroom. Gary VanLuven of Cherry Hill, rrother of the bride, and Verlyn Harns, brother of the bridegroom, were groomsmen.

Junior groomsmen were Kevin Ford and Allen and Jeffrey Harns. brothers of the bridegroom. James Denton of Sault Ste. Marie, brother-in-law of the bride, and Wayne Edly, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Randy Smith of Laingsburg and Steve Cooper seated the guests. Boyer ringbearer.

The reception was in the fellowship hall of the church. Mrs. VanLuven received guests in a floor length dress of Copenhagen blue with matching accessories. Her corsage was feathered white carnations and pink rosebuds. Mrs.

Harns wore peach with white accessories and a corsage of white carnations and peach rosebuds. Mrs. Carrie Bowerman. grandmother of the bride, wore a black and vhiie flowered dress. Mrs.

Claude Lapp, grandmother of the bridegroom, a rose and dress and Mrs. Harns, grandmother of the bridegroom was attired in mint green and white jersey. The grandmothers all had carnation corsages. After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, the couple will be'at home at 2700 Eaton Rapids Lansing. bride is a graduate of J.

W. Sexton High School and is a student at Lansing Community College, werkin? toward a nursing degree. The bridegroom, a graduate of Everett High School, is also a student at Lansing Community College, majoring in electrical engineering. New Arrivals Cpl. and Mrs.

Kenneth Bruce spent a week visiting family and friends in Lower Michigan and on Aug. 25 attended the wedding of her grandson Gary Boyer and Marie Dishaw in Jackson. Among others from out of town at the wedding were the bridegroom's aunt Mrs. Shirley Crimin and daughters Kim, Kathy and Kelly of Sault Ste. Marie and John Hover of Glendale, a former Sault resident, who is the bridegroom's great-grandfather.

Chopped hard-cooked eggs, celery and green pepper combine with diced pimiento in a colorful salad. Unflavored gelatine is the ingredient to blend everything together.
