the the the the the the the the the I RESIGNS PASTORATE The Rev. Harry W. Campbell, pastor of the three northern churches of Martin M. Post Memorial parish, Bethlehem, Concord and Lucerne, has submitted his resignation effective August 15 to accept the pastorate of the church of Pulaski, Ind. He has served the three Presbyterian churches in this community since October, 1953, coming here from Rudyard, after a pastorate there of seven years.

Earlier in his ministry he had served two other churches the Synod of Michigan, one in New York stale and one in Indiana. He was chaplain in the United States army for 20 years, and he as president of Chaplain's Association of the Military district of Washington, D. while post chaplain at Fort Belvoir, Va. He also preached in various churches In Washington. He was the first Christian minister ever to deliver a sermon in a Jewish synagogue in Casablance, French Morocco.

Reverend Campbell has done much work in Christian education, having conducted the first Week Day School of Religion in St. Joseph county, Michigan, He also has had wide experience adminIstration, counseling and social ser. vice. YARD STATUE STOLEN A coach boy statue, approximately three a and a half feet in height, was stolen from the front yard of the residence of Mr. and Mrs.
