Following the dinner the 1954 charter will be presented and the troop will hold a Court of Honor. Guest speakers at the meeting will be Earl Spriggs, Miami Valley Council Commissioner and Charles Meadows, North-West district executive. Badges will be awarded to Scouts for achieving the ranks of Star, Life, first and second classes. Recreation night will be held for Gettysburg School Parent-Teachers association members and friends Thursday night at 8 o'clock in the school auditorium. Girl Scouts, Brownies, Cubs and Boy Scouts will be in charge of devotions.

The eighth grade boys will give an exhibition basketball game against the mystery team. At the business meeting of the Ohio Gamma chapter of Delta Theta Chi sorority Wednesday night, convention plans for the Ohio Council convention will be discussed. The convention for which Mrs. Philip Ulrich is chairman, will be held April 24 and 25 at the Van Cleve hotel. Mrs.

Seward Nigh is co-chairman. The Wednesday night meeting will be held at the Young Women's league beginning at 7 30 o'clock. Members of Orchard Garden club will have their annual husbands night Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Walther on Pelham dr.

Munro was graduated from Roosevelt high school, attended Hunter college in New York City and does modeling work in New York City. Mr. Munro was graduated from Landon school of Bethesda, Georgetown university and the graduate division, Whatlon School of Commerce and Finance of the University of Pennsylvania, He served with the Army during World War II and with the Air Force during the Korean hostilities. He is now assistant accounting executive with McCann-Erickson, New York advertising agency. Neal of Washing- ONWA Sets Deadline For Scholarships r'OLUMBUS, March Ohio Newspaper Woman's association announced that applications for its second annual $250 college scholarship must be submitted by April 30 to some member of the ONWA scholarship committee. The scholarship winner, who will be chosen May 13, must be a senior girl in an Ohio school and one who plans to become a newspaper employe and to study journalism at an Ohio college or university next fall. Last year Miss MuriM Merrick, Cleveland West Tech high school, won the award and now is a student at Western Reserve university.

Determining factors in selection of the winner will be scholastic ability, faculty recommendations, samples of high school journalistic work, and a personal letter from the applicant stating her interest in newspaper work and of funds. The scholarship committee includes ONWA President Eloise Gi'uber, recently of the Columbus Dispatch; Gene Schromen, Woo-ster Daily Record; Mary Peebles, Canton Repository; Virginia Trannett, Columbus; Irene Wen-ning, Mansfield, and Bertha Well-man, Cleveland Press.
