Suggestion as to an Effort Pnblle Agreements Toward It was suggested to day about the Board of Trade and the Commercial Club; that it might expedite the work, of securing a new Federal building If some ganlxatlon representing the people of the lty could be prepared to ay to the commission that will be sent here later from Washington that the city has agreed' on a site which It asks the Oorernmeat to Indorse. It was thought that out of the suggestions some action by the two commercial bodies would be taken within a few days. I "I think the suggestion a good one, said E.

Several sites have been suggested, but I be lleve an investigation will show that fcO per cent, of the people are ia favor of having the building erected In the squa'e south' of University Park." The opinion seemed to be general that' nothing ought to be done until both Senator Fairbanks and Congressman Over street, who have the subject well in hand, are here, and may be consulted. It is felt that there ought to be no delay In starting the undertaking on account of local quarrel over the site.
