In honor of Miss Von Wasmuth, wtose marriage to Wmiam be solemnised at high noon Tharsday, Mta Eralyn Schacht was hostess last erening to twenty two members of the sorority: at a dinner party at the Tea Cop Tea shop on Nona Jefferson street A color scheme of gold and turquoise blue, the sorority colors, was used and the tables were centered with Mrs. Aaron Ward roses in crystal rases tied with airy bows of turqoise blue tulle. Dainty nut baskets and name cards marked each eorer and at the place of the honored guest was a lovely cor sage of roses. Following the dinner Wasmuth was presented a large Wue and gold covered box which contained mis eellaneoua gifts tied with blue and gold rlbbone.

Miss Dorothy Sparks of Buab rille, the house guest of Miss Wasmuth, was an out of town guest PARTY. Combine the juice and add extract, stir in the simp and place in ice box to chill and ripen, then add the water, using enough to make of the desired strength. I'onr into tall glasw pitcher containing fhaved or cracked ice aDd serve. Garnish each glass with "Dessert" chenies.

4 4 4 Pineapples de 8 cups sugar sirup 1 4 cup lemon juice Iced wster 1 1 2 cups pineapple juice 1 4 cop orange juice Make the sugar strop as directed, with one pound and one pint of water, boiling to a rather thick strap. Dilute with water to make of the right strecrth. line apple juice goes well with any fruit juices and this may be varied to suit the taste. Tea Lemonade 1 cup sugar sirup 1 quart tea infusion 1 quart iced water 1 2 cup lemon juice 1 4 cup orange or pineapple juice Combine juices and sirup, chill and add alices of lemon or orange. 4 Peach Sorbet 2 cups peach pi up or juice 1 4 cup lemon juice Iced water 1 cup orange juice 1 pint sugar sirup Combine fruit juices and sirup, then dilute with water to make of the desired strength Serve in tall glasses with ice.

Iced Cafeta 1 quart atrong coffee 1 4 cup condensed milk or cream 1 8 teaspoon ground mace 1 cup sugar 1 4 teaspoon almond extract 1 8 teaspoon sroand sllsoice Add the sugar and spices to the coffee while hot and let stand until cool, then add the cream and the extract and about one fourth cud of nowdered alnunda. Strain through a coarse cheese cloth, and place en ice to ripen. Iced Chorolaie Cap 1 cup cream or eondencod milk 4 tablespoons 'grated chocriate or t. cocoa 7 l'cup cold water 2 egg yolks 1 teaspooon' vanilla 1 cup milk 1 cup' sugar Pinch of cinnamon Pinch, of salt Crushed ice 1 quart mineral water Whipped cream Place the milk in a double boiler, and the sugar when it comes to a boil in tha chocolate melted in one fourth cup of hot water.

Cook until smooth and thick: then stir in the cream and the well beaten egg yoika, bring to the boiling point, ftirring constantly tn prevent it retting lumpy add seasoning. Dilute with water. Pcur into thin glasses about haf fillcd with shaved ice. The new term will be for four years beginning August 116.

TO Among the. three appointments announced by Bishop Herman Alerding of the Fort Wayne diocese waa the one given to the Rev. George Moorman, for merly assistant pastor of the St Mary's church in this city and now pastor of the St Louis church at Besancom. His new appointment will take him to the St Joseph's church at Logansport The Rev.

Moorman spent from Janu ary 14, 1914, until September 2, 1916, in thia city and has also served as assistant at the Cathedral in Fort Wayne and at the St Vincinfa church at Logansport.
