The Big Blues' brilliant team oatplsyed the Bison invaders after the first quarter, but obviously missed the cool headed leadership of Cain, star quarterback, whose leg was broken" early in the fray. Both teams battled ardently for a victory.

Hiueneia is now preparing for Institute invasion and plans to give the Yellowjackets a warm reception. If the Blues can beat W. Ya. conquerors of Howard, and win the rest of their games, at the end of the season the coveted gilded crown will replace the helmet head of the Bir Blue football monarch. But can they beat Institute? Really, I dunno.

COMING CLASSIC Looming near and nearer on the ports horizon are claoie clashes on the gridiron. The game Saturday at Bluefield between the Blues and Institute is one of great titular importance. The A. T. Hampton battle Monday will probably decide the C.

A. race, looms as a tilt of major importance. It promises to be ore of the best games of the year. The day after the Hampton Institute game at Charleston, on November 15, Wilberforce will be host to the Virginia Union Panthers ard expect to give the visitors a rousin; home coming reception. We plan to take in both frames 'twould be awful to miss them.
