1 1 I i' Fond du Lac to Lose Station est Bets 7 a.m. Today Show (15) coverage, broadcasting from! many remote locations; throughout the Fox River Valley. The station's major market area covered 11 counties in east central Wisconsin and its signal was carried on cable systems in Marinette-Menominee and in Mauston. Lange said the station hadi enthusiastic response from its viewing audience from the, beginning but did not receive? the advertising support it had hoped for. Another factor in its closing, he said, was the cons-; truction of a state owned television station in Green Bay.

When that went on the air this fall, he said, KFIZ-TV lost a contract for broadcast of educational programming during the day. I FOND DU LAC, (AP) the only television station in Fond du Lac, will suspend broadcast operations with the close of programming Thursday, L. A. Narrated by Hugh Downs, the film shows what the commission an extremely well-balanced group representing all sides of the spectrum feels we are faced, with If we continue to expand at our current rate, controversial subjects such as abortion are also analyzed.

Orson Welles, rumbling away like a beached walrus, apewing Invective, darting bullet-like glances, Is a good Sheridan Whiteside, transformed here Into a television celebrity who takes over a Midwestern household after falling on a doorstep.
