MUSCODA Frank J. Zaiicek, age 91, of Muscoda, died on Sunday, November 22, 1987, in the Riverdale Manor after a long Illness. He was born on October 26, 1896, In Grant County, the son of Joseph ond Elizabeth (Kligora) Zaiicek. He was married to Josephine Farrlngton on November 17, 1920, In Gays Mills, Wisconsin. He was a retired farmer, and he served in the U.S.

Navy In World War I. He was a member of the Leslie J. Lee American Legion Post No. 85 and St. John's Catholic Church of Muscoda.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine; three sons, Galen (Penny) of Rt. 1, Lone Rock, James (Marie) of Sauk City, Paul (Marlys) of Avoca; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Wynemo) (Sue) Schmitz of Bear Valley, Eileen Angle of Lodi, Mrs. Albert (Renora) Bremmer of Muscoda; two brothers, Edward (Edith) Zaiicek of Boscobel, Henry (Orpha) Zaiicek of Mt. Sterling, Wisconsin; two sisters, Mary Campbell of Jacksonville, Florida, Frances Dexter of Boscobel, 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded In death by his parents; two sisters, Anna Campbell, and Jessie Havlik; and three brothers, John, Albert and Joseph. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 25, at 10:30 a.m. In ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Avoca. Father Lawrence M.

Trainor will officiate. Burial will be In St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Richland Center. There will be military graveside rites accorded by the Leslie J. Lee American Legion Post No.

there will be a scripture service. Thayer, Doris MIDDLETON Doris Thayer, age 69, of Middleton died on Monday, November 23, 1987, at the Meriter Methodist Hospital after a long Illness. She was born on Nobember 7, 1918, In the Town of Verona, and was a lifelong Middleton resident. She was employed with Wilma's Cofe, Linda's Cafe, and Wollv's Restaurant In Middleton for many years. She has always enioved a good game of Euchre with her friends.

She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church In Middleton. Surviving are two sons, Rodney (Susan) Thayer of Middleton, Randy (Carol Frve) Thaver of Middleton; three grandchildren, Richard and Scott Thaver, and Shora Frve all of Middleton; a brother, Kenneth "Buzz" (Emily) Warner of Madison. She was preceded In death by her parents, Hubert O. and Erna P.

Warner; her husband, Donald in 1960; a daughter, Shirley In 1955; an Infant son; and two sisters and their husbands, Bernice in 1962, and Clem Herrling In 1974, ond Mildred In 1973, and Rudy Gravandt In 1977. WATERTOWN Ernst H. Timmel, age 62, of Hwy passed away at his home due to acute leukemia, on Saturday, November 21, 1987. He was born on March 24, 1925, in the town Ixonia, the son of August ond Alma Timmel. On May 27, 1950, he married the former Joyce Schroeder In Watertown. He was employed by the Loeder Oil Company In Lake Mills for the past ten years and was previously self employed In the garage and service station business.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Ixonia. Survivors include his wife, Joyce; his mother. Alma of Watertown; two daughters, Mrs. Jane (Terrence) O'Brien of Sturtevant; Mrs.

Gail (Larry) Bellman, Milwaukee; two sons, Randall of Waterloo, and Thomas (Pamela) of Watertown; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Edwin of Ixonia, Clarence (Carol), Watertown; a sister, Mrs. John Pernat of Oconomowoc; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. He was preceded Schroeder, Clarenton R. (Cuddy) SUN PRAIRIE Clarenton R. (Cuddy) Schroeder, age 80, of Sun Prairie, died on Monday, November 23, 1987, at his home.

He was born on March 10, 1907, In rural Sun Prairie, the son of Benlamln and Lorene (Faiver) Schroeder. Mr. Schroeder was employed for 32 years as a foundry worker for the Madison Brass Works and also farmed in Sun Prairie. He married Marion Turner on May 2, 1932, in Rockford, Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Marion; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; three sisters, Olive Pederson of Madison, Bernadine Edwards of Columbus, and Clara Foster of Sun Prairie; and a brother, Charles (Louise) Schroder of Madison.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Betty Ann, on August 27, 1976; and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at the PEACE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, in Sun Prairie, on Wednesday, November 25, 1987, at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Elton C. Stroh, and Pastor A.D. Laper will officiate. Burial will be in the Windsor Cemetery.

Shulak, age 78, of AVI 1606 Sherwood Lane, Woodruff, Wisconsin, died on Sunday, November 22, 1987, at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff. He was born in Racine, on July 25, 1909.

He married the former Irene Deschler, in Racine. He was a charter member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Racine, and was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Woodruff. Survivors- include his wife, Irene; two sons, William F. (Mario) of Racine, and Richard J.

(Carol) of Lake Mills; a daughter, Mary Ann (Michael) Glimes of Corona, California; 12 grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held at ST. Rankin, Lloyd F. MADISON Lloyd F. Rankin, age 73, of 4709 Cottage Grove Road, died on Monday, November 23, 1987, at a Madison hospital. Funeral arrangements are pending at the GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr. Reuter, Monica C.

MADISONEDGE RTON Monica C. Reuter, age 75, presently living at 5220 Maher in Madison, and formerly of the West Palm Beach, Florida area and Edgerton, died on Saturday, November 21, at a local hospital. She was born on January 18, 1912, in the Richland Center area. She operated the Gable Restaurant in Richland Center and later the Drive-In Restaurant in Edgerton for a number of years. For the past 17 years, she has spent most of her time in Lake Park, Florida.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Lake Park, Florida. Surviving her are two nieces. Donna (Richard) Stalheim of Madison and Joan Radacy of Las Vegas, Nevada; and many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; three brothers; and a special friend, Lawrence "Red" Walthers.

A memorial mass will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield Street, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, with Father James Murphy officiating. Burial will be In Highland Memory Gardens. GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Is serving the family. Rose, Concordia Emily MADISON Concordia Emily Rose, died on Sunday, November 22, 1987.

She was born on June 8, 1906, in Rolla, North Dakota, to Pastor Karl and Augusta (Brodhagen) Rose. She attended grade school in Reeseville and LaValle, and graduated from Reedsburg High School in 1926. For some years she stayed in LaValle clerking in a grocery store and working at the LaValle bank. She then moved to Madison and worked at Simon Brothers, and finally In the purchasing department of the University. For years she shared an apartment with Helen Scheideler at 445 West Wilson Street.

Early this year she suffered a stroke, which completely paralyzed her right side, and was confined to the Madison Convalescent Center. She is survived by a brother, Martin of Rice Lake; three nieces; a nephew; and other relatives ond friends. She was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 1987, at 10:00 A.M., at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH. Reverend David J.

Schneeberger, age 16, of Albany, died on Sunday, November 22, 1987. He was born in Monroe on June 7, 1971, to Eugene L. Schneeberger and Romalne Hlllegue. He was a junior at Albany High School. Survivors are his parents; his sister, Nichole of Madison; maternal grandparents, Henry And Delores Hlllegue of Dakota, Minnesota; and paternal grandmother, Gladys Schneeberger of Brodhead.

Clearfield, Joshua MADISON Joshua Clearfield, age 17 of 113 Cory, in Thailand on November 22, 1987, of muscular dystrophy. He attended Gompers School and also East High School. He is survived by his parents, Martin and Bonnie Clearfield, a sister, Angela; a brother, Christopher; and his grandparents, Elvin and Gertude Clearfield. Johnson, Helen E. LODI Helen E. Johnson, age 76, of Lodi, died on Monday, November 23, 1987, at a Portage hospital. She was the former Helen Comeau and was born on November 2, 1911, at Onalaska. She graduated from the Onalaska High School and LaCrosse State Teachers College.

She taught high school for 32 years at Viola, Wisconsin, and Lodi, Wisconsin. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, and the Queen Esther Chapter 4 Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by a son. Perry of Lodi; a daughter, Mary Lou (Charles) Holzer of LaCrosse; a granddaughter, Kayla Holzer; her step-mother, Kathryn Yeager; and a step-sister. Pearl (Russell) Bancroft, both of Aurora, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theelien on August 19, 1987. Funeral service will be held at 1 :30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, at the FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, Lodi, with the Reverend Kenneth Shaub officiating. Interment will be in the County Line Cemetery. Montello died on November 22, 1987 at the Montello Care Center. She was born on April 9, 1896 in the Township of Buffalo. She married David Krentz on December 16, 1914 In Montello. She worked at William's Fruit Farm for over twenty years. She was a member of St.

John's Lutheran Church in Montello. She is survived by three sons, Ernest (Adelaide) of Montello, Elmer (Gloria) of Neenah, Robert (Jean) of Madison; 2 daughters, Florence (Jack) Calnin of Madison, Doris (Leonard) Henslln of Rlpon, 21 grandchildren; and 28 greatgrandchildren. She Is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dovld, and one daughter, Irene. MADISON David N. Lund, age 55, of 918 Midland Street, died on Monday, November 23, 1987, at home. He was born on December 11, 1931, in Windsor. He was a graduate of DeForest High School, ond had lived In Madison since 1960. Mr.

Lund served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1953 aboard the U.S.S. Pokatuk. He was a boiler operator at the Urn. Madison Veteran's Hospital for ten years until 1970.

He was a member of the VFW Post 1318, the Moose Lodge 1451, and the Southside Men's and Women's Club. Survivors include his wife, Ann; four sons, Mike, Patrick, David, and Mark, all of Madison; two sisters, Solveig Skaar of Pomona, California and Margaret Doieshaw of Madison; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Axel and Marie Lund; and five sisters. Magna, Jane, Ruth, Olive, and Eleanor.

Funeral services will be held at the GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, with Father William DeBock officiating. Loomis, Verdia E. DEFOREST Verdia E. Loomis, age 80, passed away on Monday, November 23, 1987, at a Sun Prairie nursing home. She was born on January 26, 1907, in the town of Windsor. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Russell; a daughter Donna (Randy) Pederson of DeForest; three brothers, Clarence Schultz of Block Earth, Henry and Robert Schultz of Madison; five grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 1987, at 11:00 a.m. at the EDWARDSON FUNERAL HOME, DeForest. Reverend A. Stanley Christensen officiating.

Burial will be In the North Windsor Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. McNutt, Norma Ennis OXFORDENDEAVOR Norma Ennis McNutt, age 101, died Sunday, November 22, 1987. She was born at Merritt's Landing, now Endeavor, Wisconsin, on August 7, 1886, the daughter of Hugh and Charlotte (Chapman) Ennis.

Her paternal grandfather, John Ennis, came to the Town of Buffalo, Marquette County, Wisconsin in 1849, as one of the first settlers in Marquette County. Her father was a pioneer merchant, horse dealer and lumberman, first at Douglas Center, a village in Marquette County that no longer exists, and later at Endeavor. She was a graduate of the Christian Endeavor Academy at Endeavor. In 1919, she married Robert McNutt of Oxford, Wisconsin, who was in business with the McNutt family, breeding and raising horses. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1958.

She served as a postmaster at Oxford from 1925 through 1932. In 1938 she founded the Adams-Marquette Electric Co-operative as one of its incorporators. She served on its first board of directors from 1938 to 1941. A member of the First Presbyterian Church at Oxford, she acted as a member of the Madison Presbytery for many years. She was long active in the Order of the Eastern Star and was a past matron of the Oxford chapter.

She was also preceded In death by two sisters, Lola Bennett and Charlotte Watson; and by two brothers. Merlin Ennis and Chancey Ennis. She is survived by one nephew. Jack Ennis, Arlington, Massachusetts; and by two nieces, Jean Packard, Marbiehead, Massachusetts and Charlotte Clark, Seattle, Washington. She also Is survived by several grandnephews and grondnieces.

Including grandnephews David H. Bennett and Ross Michael Bennett, Portage, Brian Carev Bennett, Boone, North Carolina, ond James Crink, Darien, Connecticut. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Carol R. Hermann will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 1987, at the STEINHAUS FUNERAL HOME at Westfleld, Wisconsin.
